Sneak peek at the cover of Albion Armitage's Astounding Arsenal.
AAAA is a short adventure for 4 or 5 8th to 10th level characters. The PCs are resting up in the small trade city of Cathay, when a mysterious magical map ends up in their hands. Following the map, the PCs find their way to Albion Armitage's Astounding Arsenal and make arrangements for a purchase by the Duke of Cathay. But the PCs are not the only ones seeking the arsenal...
AAAA will also include dozens of new weapons, armors and magic items - unique items that can be found in Albion Armitage's Astounding Arsenal. It was written by Sean O'Connor (The Book of Divine Magic, Paths of Power and Luven Lightfinger's Gear & Treasure Shop) and original illustrations and maps are by Will Rodriguez.
Look for AAAA in PDF and PoD by the end of the month!

How would you say it is broke up? About half adventure and half other or? Just curious.
It will be about 60% adventure, 40% new weapons, armor and magic items. The adventure is written as a side-trek, not as a long adventure, and can be played in about 4 to 6 hours by most groups (based on our playtesting).

this is an excellent idea, mixing an adventure with a supplement

That was part of Sean's idea too, when we first discussed the idea. What better way to give a plug-and-play introduction of these things into a game than to include a short adventure as part of the product?

Okay. This just fell on my radar on the recent posts on the left for the messageboards. What is that on the cover? Intrigues me.
It is the Ekatonkier, a massive construct designed to function as a siege weapon. It can hurl boulders, flaming pitch, or just tear down walls with its hands.

But wait! That's not all! Act now, and we'll DOUBLE the offer! That's right, TWO Ekatonkiers for the price of 1!
(sorry, couldn't resist...)

I would personally like to hear more about the cover model. ;)
What do you get for the warlord who has everything? The means to lay to waste all who oppose him, of course. And the Ekatonkier might just be that to the right owner. Sure, anyone can bring a few elementals or golems to a battle, but a 40 foot tall war machine that makes its own ammunition and only takes orders from the designated leader? Get your own Ekatonkier today, knowing you'll be the envy of every would-be Emperor around.

So it gets a seal of approval from a Sith Lord, then? :P
