I need some help with a school project. Please help me out, someone?

Name: (A real name, not necessarily yours. I know how people are about privacy.)
Date and Place of Birth
Married?
Children?

Jobs you've done?
Favourite Childhood memory?
Favourite Teenage memory?
Favourite Adulthood memory?
Have you ever traveled, if so, where to and why?
If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out?
What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up?
What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up?

Do you exercise?
What kind of activities are you interested in?
Do you regret anything?
If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be?

Before I answer the questions I would like to know the level of detail you require, do you want a few sentences or detailed answers such as I visited the med or I spent one week in toulon another week in nice and another week in cannes the off to croatia. Do you want a short paragraph or half a book?

Personally, the more detailed the better.

You may choose whichever you desire, but as I previously stated. The more detailed the better for me personally.

Reason for this would be that I could plant additional questions which I did not have the idea for beforehand. Thus looking as if I had asked another question and that's why you give me such a detailed response.

>.> Reason for that -> More questions the better for this project >< lol

I think one girl had like over 200 questions.. I was like... "WTF O.O???"

Anyway, sorry for my non-nonsensical rambling, and if you do choose to help me out I thank you very much.

I need to hand this project in on Monday, working on the other portions of it tomorrow. I've got most of it done, just need these last few bits done.

The questions unfortunately being a large part ><

There goes my rambling again ><

Name:Steven Tindall
Date and Place of Birth June 16,1970. Lansthul,Germany(army brat)
Married? no!!
Children? Hell No!!

Jobs you've done? in order. Tabbaco farm worker, produce plant worker, plastic pipe factory worker, hog farmer, head baker at red lobster, optical fabricator, factory worker makeing M-16's and grenades for the army, US Sailor, security guard(armed), PC support tech.

Favourite Childhood memory? My grandmothers birthday parties, when I was little it was like a family reunion and the food was amazing.

Favourite Teenage memory? The first time I had sex. My brothers best friend jonny thought I was 18 not 12 because of my height(I was 6'3) and introduced me to sex.

Favourite Adulthood memory? gratuating college.

Have you ever traveled, if so, where to and why?I travelled to colorado and stayed there for 6yrs. then chicago for a year then in the navy I went to spain, france, italy, croatia, malorca, and turkey when I was a sailor.

If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out? N/A

What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up? I think the world today is amazing compared to when I was younger and can't wait to see the progress continue. I love the tech advances we are makeing as a society.

What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up?this reminds me of an old cartoon where the parents were nostalgic over how when "they" were younger there was only 3 tv stations and you had to get up to change them, there were only supermarkets not mega shopping centers, malls wern't nearly as common, etc. etc. The response from the kids after their parents left the room was "thank goodness we were born in a more advanced era"
Honestly can you imagine a world without internet or cable?

Do you exercise? 5 times a week.
What kind of activities are you interested in? rpg's,working on computers, going to sca events.

Do you regret anything? listening to my father when he came back from veitnam and as a child being convinced the russians were going to attack at anytime and the world would end in a ball of nuclear fire, kindda hard to be motivated about your grades when your convinced by your dad you'll never live to see adulthood. That and some other poor choices that arn't legal so I'm not writeing about them. My most major regret was not being home when my mother died and not being able to say good-by.

If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be?
not listen to my father and his fatalistic, doomsday approach to life. That can really mess up a 7yr old when he thinks he's on borrowed time and everyone he loves is going to die.

Wow, pretty awesome, certainly have lived a more experienced life than I.

Hmm, if I could get a few more people to answer then I'd be done.

Name? David Mallon
Date and Place of Birth? November 20, 1986, Syracuse, NY, USA
Married? Not yet.
Children? No, probably never.

Jobs you've done? Gas station attendant, janitor, camp counselor, dishwasher, theatre prop wrangler, construction worker, electrician's gofer, groundskeeper's assistant, musician, illustrator, RPG writer

Favourite Childhood memory? Purposely getting myself lost in the woods so that I could find my way back.

Favourite Teenage memory? The first time I ever heard one of Henry Rollins' spoken word bits. It changed my life.

Favourite Adulthood memory? I'd have to get back to you on that one.

Have you ever traveled, if so, where to and why? I've been all over the world, or at least all over the western half of the northern hemisphere. I've been to every state in the union except Alaska, and I've been to both Mexico and Canada (Canada more times than I can remember--my hometown's about an hour and a half away from the border). I've also been to Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, the Vatican, the UK, and Ireland, all on vacation with rich friends. Well, except the Ireland-UK trip; I shelled out for that one, and it was well worth it.

If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out? No kids, and I probably won't ever have any. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I had to go through as a kid, mentally.

What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up? It's about the same. Big nasty government, bigger, nastier corporations, small powerless people.

What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up? When I was growing up, there was no or little internet, and there was still a little bit of music on MTV.

Do you exercise? Whenever I can, which, at the moment, is not at all. When I'm not at university, I lift weights and take long hikes in the woods, as well as having to lift tires and 40-pound pallets of beer bottles for my day job (or night job, as the case may be).

What kind of activities are you interested in? RPGs, playing music, reading comics, lifting weights, backpacking, listening to good music with good friends.

Do you regret anything? More than I should. Going to SCAD is at the top of the list right now. Listening to my mother for the first twenty years of my life is also pretty high up there.

If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be? I wish I had some sort of stability, so that I could get and apartment for myself and my girlfriend, play my music, work on the things that I want to work on, and not live in my mother's basement.

If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out?
What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up? Technology makes life a lot more interesting. Not always better, but not always worse.
What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up? Internet, Computers, etc.

Do you exercise? I try
What kind of activities are you interested in? Gaming, reading, web design, movies, being with friends
Do you regret anything? I am happy to say no, I always looked at the choices before me and was able to choose the path with the attitude of "if I don't do this, will I regret it?"
If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be? Star Trek Replicators. The sooner someone figures that out, the sooner we eliminate poverty in the world.

Thank you so very much guys, this has helped me out VERY much.

I am looking for older individuals for this survey but since I am unable to acquire any out of ease. I'll be using one of the following or more, and then either using it as is or adapting it to fit my desired age range.

However, all the basics shall remain the same.

Just letting you know what's going on.

Any information that you've given will not be passed around. Then again you didn't give any information really that would warrant worrying.

Anyway, aside from my rambling. Once again thank you, and I'm not able to complete my project.

-Nods to you all, and gives you all hugs-

Name: Bruno Grønbæk Kristensen
Date and Place of Birth: 23 November 1978, Denmark
Married? No
Children? None I'm aware of

Jobs you've done? Choir singer, tobacco handler, temp blue collar worker, freelance translator, computer games tester, customer service agent, localization manager.
Favourite Childhood memory? Several, but one that is strong in my mind is going for long walks in the local forest.
Favourite Teenage memory? Playing the old SSI computer RPGs (Pool of Radiance, Secret of the Silver Blades, etc., while listening to the same cassette tape of Roxette songs while the sun went down.)
Favourite Adulthood memory? So far, performing Händel's Messiah with a full choir and philharmonic orchestra. I imagine becoming a father at some point will top that, though.
Have you ever traveled, if so, where to and why? Germany (Holiday and work), Sweden (canooing trip), Poland (holiday with scouts), Czech Republic (school trip), Belgium (school trip), Netherlands (holiday), France (school trip and concert tour with choir, respectively), Crete (holidays with ex), UK (school trip and work, respectively), Ireland (exchange student and later lived there for a year).
If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out? No kids, but hope to have some. Name for firstborn boy (as if I get any say in that) - Bjarke ("little bear" in Old Norse). Firstborn daughter - Elinor.
What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up? We are more aware of the dangers of living, both environmental and domestic/international crime, terror, war.
What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up? I was a kid, so the world was a lot smaller back then (in my point of view).

Do you exercise? Not regularly, but have a wii with fitness and love biking.
What kind of activities are you interested in? RPGs, board games, reading, singing.
Do you regret anything? Yes, but there's only one thing to do...change the things...
If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be? If we are talking omnipotent powers, I'd probably remove strife and misery. If we are talking more limited powers, I'd make sure to live life to the fullest.

Married? Nope
Children? Nope

Jobs you've done? In no particular order ... cook, waiter, barista, coffee roastmaster, workforce manager, call center supervisor, web programmer ...

Favourite Childhood memory? Learning to shoot a bow at my grandparents' house in Virginia. I learned from my dad and granddad on the bows my dad and uncles learned how to shoot with. When my grandmother died, I inherited the collection of bows, arrows, fletching equipment, etc.

Favourite Teenage memory? First Dead show in 1986. I spent part of the week before at a family reunion in Vienna VA, crashed at a friend of a friend's house for two days before the show and hit the Georgetown punk scene during that stay and hit the July 4 fireworks up in DC, along with the Rock Against Reagan shows earlier on that day.

Caught the metro in on July 6, got breakfast from the Hari Krishnas, had a duffel bag full of dirty laundry searched to get into the RFK stadium and had NO IDEA HOW I WAS GOING TO GET HOME. Had an absolute blast and ran into a bunch of friends up there, so getting home turned into a non-issue.

Favourite Adulthood memory? The first would be when I became an uncle. When my oldest nephew was born, I went into the hospital carrying a GIANT stuffed sea turtle (the thing is like 4 feet long) over my back, front flippers over my shoulders. My nephew still has that sucker.

The second was on my first trip to Vegas, when it became overwhelmingly obvious that I do look a lot like Penn Jillette. The dealers at the poker tables in Paris had abet as to whether Penn was indeed sitting at the bar waiting for a seat to open up.

Have you ever traveled, if so, where to and why? Yes, throughout the continental US (been to all the lower 48), UK, Germany, France, Belgium. Mostly pleasure/family trips, though some of the US trips have been business. And the trip to Germany when I was 19 was to chase after a girl I fell for ... didn't turn out how I hoped but still had a blast over there.

If you have children; what are their names? what do they do for a living? are you happy with the way they turned out? N/A

What do you think about the world today compared to how it was when you were growing up? SSDD ... the world hasn't changed really, the toys we have changed and there is the sense that we understand things better (which we really probably don't), but otherwise, really, it's the same world with the same people and the same problems.

What are some of the differences between today and when you were growing up? The internet and technology as a whole is probably the number one difference. At least the most noticeable. And the relative cost of things. I remember when gas broke a dollar a gallon and thought that was crazy ... now I wish for it to be that cheap. Same thing with cigarettes.

Do you exercise? Not as much as I should.

What kind of activities are you interested in? RPGs, computer tech (specifically web based tech), hiking (though nowhere near as much I before I lived in the mountains), photography/video, writing.

Do you regret anything? If I didn't, I would not have lived. After all, Life is just a series of choices and if we always choose wisely, it can get boring.

If you could change one thing in the world or your life what would it be? Depends, are you talking about changing something that I have done in my life or are you talking about some aspect of my life that I would love to be different?

If it is the former, that's a tough one. Probably would change one of a few stupid mistakes I made back in my misspent youth (and that's all the detail you'll get there).

If it is the latter, I would say I would love to have the financial wherewithal to be able to do the work I want to do not the work I have to do. To basically turn my interests into what I do without concern of cash flow.

Thank you all for the help.
