Hey, everyone. I started a PbP for anyone and everyone who would like to stretch their legs. There is no specified adventure, or DM for that matter, but it is an open sandbox for role-playing. Maybe you are new to PbP, or just in between adventures, and would still like to give your characters some room to run.
Well, that's where Limbo comes in. It's a pub like an other, at first glance. It's definitely well-known for it's wide stock of liquid refreshments thanks to Mors‘ renowned skills at mixing drinks, and a certain enchanted cabinet, housing almost every liquor and beverage known to humanoid kind. But the greatest thing about Limbo is the clientele. (that would be you.) Something interesting always happens when the pub gets crowded.
”So how ‘bout it? Let‘s put a drink in those idle hands.”

Just want to toss out the invite again - more people have come through, and it's really picked up - A few more would make it interesting, so anyone who is currently between games is encouraged to come by, with or without stats. Though, if you come in with stats (I recommend it,) we've got a level 2 cap to keep it simple for everyone.

This may seem like a silly/stupid question for such an environment, but I was wondering:
You said level cap 2 - okay, but what other guidelines should be followed for character creation:
Point buy? If so, how much? If not? What is the rolling method (3d6 in order, 4d6 drop lowest arrange to taste...)?
What rules sets are available: Pathfinder only? Pathfinder and 3.5?
If I'm taking this too seriously, just say, "DUDE! Make a freakin' character and show up!"
:)

There are no hardline rules, since it's mostly RP, but rolls and combat can come into play, so a good guildline is Level 2 characters with 25 point buy. Some people are using background traits, some people aren't. It appears to be mostly Pathfinder, but we have some 3.5 and even 4.0 people. I'd recommend Pathfinder, just to make it easier to interact with others.
You don't have to fight, or even roll, some people just interact through dialogue.
That being said, I would add this: "DUDE! Make a freakin' character and show up!"
