I have a vendor that I have to call sometimes that has an (888) toll-free number. If you dial the same number, but with (800), it is a phone-sex line. Awkward.

It certainly seems like it could. Fortunately, I think it's toll-free until you agree to the charges, so it's probably not popping up on any management reports.
At least I would have the leverage that I'm not into women. It makes my scenario a lot more believable.

I keep running into the same problem at work, instinctively dialing in 800 rather than the appropriate area code number, and with the same results.

Also, his team said that he was trying to discuss that the oversaturation of US Military already on the island. I know that when I'm hopped up on cold medicine, I have some difficulties communicating and THINK I'm fine to work. ;)

INterestingly enough, a lot of porn stars I know of are actually very active politically- for some it's a necessity to keep their job. Many older stars and producers have vivid memories of the Traci Lords flap, and wish to keep that from happening again.
