I'm totally gonna be in Kansas City the first Saturday of May and would be tempted to make the trek to Columbia for this if I didn't have my 10 year high school reunion that night! Darn you and your scheduling conflicts!
If you are ever going to be in the area with nothing to do, we would be honored to have you come and run your scenario! That would be amazing!!!

DUDE come on... really? You would rather hang out with a bunch of people you didn't like back then instead of getting your Golarion on? Come on, ditch the losers and hang out with us instead!

I just wanted to let everyone out there in Paizoland know what a great time everyone had at PFS Smackdown #1. Lots of people showed up, everybody played and laughed and had a great time, and got together with friends old and new. A bunch of us went out to eat after midnight, and that was great too! I think that during the course of the evening, every single person that attended came up to me and told me what a great time they were having.
Can't wait for the next one! If you missed last nights revelries, you have another chance on May 8th at 6p.m. sharp!!!! I hope to see you there!!!
EDIT: We had people drive from as far away as Cape and Topeka, KS. Even those that came from that far away said that the drive was totally worth the game!

PFS Smackdown 2: Electric Boogaloo is going to be on May 8th. I have had several folks say that 6 is a bit too early, so we are gonna start at 7 instead. That way, players can chat with each other, compare (their characters') scars from the first PFS Smackdown, and get ready for the awesomeness, all while allowing time for those people who don't get off work until 6 or 6:30 to get there!
I kinda thought that the numbers would slack off a little between part 1 and part 2, but I have had LOTS of folks tell me that, while they couldn't make the first one, they are excited about part 2 and on!
I may have to turn my house into a bed and breakfast to house all the out of town gamers coming in!!!

PFS Smackdown 2 was a massive success, with many more people than expected showing up. Valhalla's Gate had the largest single day sales total ever, and it looks like the next one is gonna be even bigger! So keep posted here for information on PFS Smackdown 3-D : The Revenge of Jerrod Synn, coming June 5th to a FLGS near you!

I know that most folks out there in Paizoland are going to Gencon, but for those few who are looking for something to do and aren't too far away Valhalla's Gate in Columbia, MO is hosting the (unofficial) Grand Melee on August 7th!
This is just a fun way for folks to get together and show off their Pathfinder Society characters--there are no repercussions for losing and the level cap is set at 4th. Just come on by and join the battle, and if your character wins yours truly will buy you a copy of the most anticipated book of the year, the Advanced Player's Guide!
And for those folks in the Columbia area who don't know it yet, the PFS Smackdown meets once a month, on the first Saturday, at 7p.m. It has been a huge success, and is about to overflow Valhalla's Gate's gameroom! Anyone and everyone is welcome--just show up with a Society legal character and sit down at a table.
We hope to see some new faces there!
