Incorporating Tome of Battle into existing PF melee classes

Homebrew and House Rules

I would really like to use (at least some of) the maneuvres from ToB as abilities for the existing PF warrior classes (esp. the fighter). So, if you were to do something like that, how would you go about it? Just let them pick maneuvres and stances via the feats in the ToB? Give the Fighter a Warblade progression in addition to what he already has, and limiting it to certain disciplines? Use a toned down progression? Give him the Martial Study feat as a bonus feat a few times?

Looking forward to your ideas.

I can't recommend that at all. The base classes are already balanced, you're risking unbalancing the whole game by giving them new abilities. Are you giving other classes maneouvres or anything as well?

You're much better off just converting the ToB to PF, and honestly, there's not much you need to do, IMHO they're already balanced with PF base classes. In 3.5 the Warblade etc. were considered overpowered compared to a base fighter; likewise any rogue worth his salt took 2 lvls of Swordsage.

Scarab Sages

No need to convert anything really.
Take the Martial Study feat and pick a maneuver. Non-ToB classes are at half their level for Initiator Level. Want more maneuvers, take the feat again.
I thought fighters could already take Martial Study as a bonus feat. If not, it's an easy fix.
