My players could not stand by and watch as Crimson was slowly torn to bits by Malcaeneth's court. M's agent assumed responsibility for Crimson and they took her aboard the Sea Wyvern.
So, now is the question; what kind of plots should this lead to? Crimson is depressed now, and the players thought they saw a glimmer of redemption in her - which is fairly much projection, as my party is a bunch of very Good people. Still, I don't want to hose them because they want to be nice.
I need some crux and plots to develop the situation. I depicted Crimson as very goth, very much about drama, and incredibly self-centered. Basically, if she could not get Malcaenet's attention in some other way, she was ok with being torn to shreds in order to satisfy her own egotism.
I am planning to have Iggliv somewhat amused and the rest of the "people" they will meet during the AP pretty much ignore Crimson. What I'm mainly looking for is some interesting developments with Crimson herself.

Crimson is a Demon. Lies and deceit are in their nature. Especially lilitus who are born when an entire clergy is decieved into worshiping a Demon Lord and then gets killed in return!!!
Does sacrificing innocents matter nothing to them? With a Knowledge (Planes) they should know AT LEAST this:
The sly and seductive lilitus are masters of mocking the
divine. They infi ltrate temples, corrupt priests, and slowly
convert their victims to the worship of the demon lords.
Not to mention they just pissed off Malcanthet who'll inform Demogorgon of their plans.

Yes, I know its hard, night impossible. But to make it a challenge, even an over-hard challenge, I need ideas, things to do, idiosyncrasies. Any ideas`?
Maybe she'll try to convert them while they are trying to convert her. Perhaps she can describe some of her beliefs in reasonable, logical, persuasive terms. Have her ask for quid pro quo: she'll try to do something nice if they'll try something naughty.
Chances are she'll eventually betray the PC's after they think they've converted her. Pretty easy to play up the 'changed sweet-heart' role, possibly even getting a PC romantically involved. Use a picture of an innocent looking hottie to show what she looks like after 'changing her ways'. Players tend to trust nice, sweet, smiling pictures.
I wouldn't have her actually convert unless the PC's can do an excellent job. Also, you could keep her as a reserve PC (in case someone loses their own). Allowing a player to temporarily run her also has the bonus of building trust.

I think it's an interesting idea. It should be extremely hard to convert her, but if they do a very good job it's possible. More likely that she'll betray them, but you never know.
In response to what Erevis said, I think it's quite unlikely that Malcanthet would betray the PC's to Demogorgon. She is desperate to stop his plans, and she's the one that got the PC's involved in the first place.

I'm not playing D as an idiot, merely as very confident. He knows the PCs are out to get him - he just thinks they can never succeed.
Not that it really matters if D gets wind of them at this point. He is busy preparing his ritual. Anything he throws at them is unlikely to be stronger than the generals they are already facing - maybe the circumstances of those confrontations will change, but not much else.

Could I ask you to please put in spoiler tags information related to other Adventure Paths? I'm about to start playing AoW and now I know there's a vampiric Silver Dragon there...
It's fine and dandy to talk about spoilers of Savage Tide, since this is basically a place for DMs, but not everyone has played other APs...
