Just got an iPhone after using a Blackberry for years and am a bit overwhelmed by the App Store. I'd love some suggestions of good apps I should take a look at. In particular, looking for a task manager, pdf-viewer, mileage tracker, and anything else you consider a "must get".

While I don't have any suggestions for the other apps, I strongly recommend GoodReader as a pdf viewer. It's continually being updated, and it's the best reader I've seen so far.

Check out the app named PFR (--> PathFinder Reference). It contains the actual reference document for Pathfinder, including races, classes, skills, feats, equipment, conditions, spells, magic items and even the monsters.

There's a vicious rumor going around that I developed a mapping program which I will sell to you for $989.45 in pennies, 10 grams of blow, and 5 hookers. And if you throw in an extra hooker, I'll make sure it actually takes you where you want to go, not where I want you to go.

An app for generating names - Fantasy Names for Cool Characters is promoting itself free in the App Store today. I haven't tried it out yet but... its names, and its free. Not that much to lose by checking it out, probably.
