This order went from a preorder to a backorder and finally to a pending order, that has been pending for some time (with the date pushed back yet again).
Can anyone tell me when this is likely to ship? I originally ordered it for a birthday gift. That birthday has long sinced passed and the person I was giving it to has been patiently awaiting for me to get it.

Looks like we *should* be bringing these in from our distributor, however, I'll double check with our operations manager to make sure there are no issues.

Please let me know what you find out. If I am looking at another couple of weeks before this order ships, then it is not worth me waiting. I can get it from my FLGS now (or I could as of last weekend).
Edit: Actually, go ahead and cancel my order. I just confirmed that my FLGS does still have the item in question. I can pick it up from them after work.
