Buying gear...

The 2.1 guide states:

"A GM must be present in order for you to purchase items, so you may only purchase items during or after a scenario."

Like ANY items? Or just items specifically found during the scenario? I ask because there's some basic gear I'd like to buy...

That is referring to buying items from your current or past two chronicle sheets, not the basic gear that is always available, though you still need to make sure your math is correct and you did not buy more than you could afford.
