Wulfie
Wolfie smiles, tilts her head to the side. "I will gladly meet all of you at the Monkey. Expect an early wake up call if you are staying there. They never fail to get me out of bed."
Wolfie bows to Arcturus and hands him a piece of paper.
and walks out of the restaurant.
Ammian
"Goodbye, till tommorow", Ammian says and leaves the Shinto. He wanders around, telling himself that he should go back to the Monkey, but he seems to have taken a wrong turn, and finds himself in from of "The Farmer's Gold", a filthy gambling den. "It must be a sign", he says to himself, as he enters and starts gambling. A couple of hours later he doesn't win or lose anything significant, so he decides to head back to the Monkey and call it a night.
Durion
Durion, who has followed, observed and listened to it all up to this point and said not a word, finally speaks up, reminding you of his presence. In a curt and raspy tone, he gives his parting words for the night, "Until tomorrow, fellow comrades." With that, he acknowledges his acceptance of the mission and returns to his room at the Monkey Inn.
As you struggle to remember him and when he even joined the group, you can vaguely recall he's elven, male, with strangely short but quick steps when he walks. He leaves so little else as an impression, that you wonder if you'd recognize him if he rejoins the group tomorrow...
Elena Lovain
Taking the map, Elena excuses herself for the evening and follows the majority of the group back to the Monkey. "Don't forget the holy water, boss," she says over her shoulder as she exits the meeting. She bids good night to her compatriots, realizing this will probably be the last night of good rest she has for a while.
Relayer
Morning comes early. As you arise and come down the stairs, Abner, the butler, is there ahead of you. He has, not 6, but 9 vials of holy water. He greets you and gives one vial to each of you. Then gives Jane two extra. He then hands over a large, ornate key, which he says goes to the front door.
He then gives you directions to get to the house. Across the river on the 7th street bridge. Up the hill, turn right. Continue on for about half a mile. The last house on the right
As you leave the inn and head for the house, a young women approaches the group and asks, Are you the group who is going to dehaunt the house? If so, would you please be careful, my boyfriend is missing and I believe he is in the house. He had some kind of plan, I don't know what. But he has been gone for two days and I am worried. Please, just watch for him and return him safe. Thank-you..
She then flees and is not seen further be the group.
You continue to the designated location and find a large home as described by the map. An access road leads to the front and continues around the house, forming a circle around it. The front has two large wings coming forward with a garden set between them. At the back of the garden are two large double doors.
Elena Lovain
Elena stashes the flask of holy water in her backpack, and continues on with the group to the described home site. She listened to the lady they met on the way, and as the lady was scurrying off, the bard shouted to her, "We'll send him home when we find him...""
As they approach the building, Elena does a quick visual scan to see if anything jumps out at her as strange.
Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
This is probably the time we need to make a marching order. Suggestions welcomed.

Good suggestion
Elena Lovain
See the discussion thread for a proposed marching order.
Durion
As Elena works out the marching order for the group with the fellow comrades, Durion is impressed by the thought behind it. "I do believe this order would serve us well." He gives Elena an approving nod, and turns to Jane.
"I noticed we received some extra vials of holy water. If we are truly dealing with the undead, you may have your hands full, and it may be worthwhile to pass the extra vials to those with good aim, if our intention is to throw them at the ghost. If I recall the discussions yesterday correctly," he turns toward the Elena, "I believe Elena had mentioned her skills with the bow. She may be able to pout an extra vial or two to good use, as can Lanten over there, if I inferred his skills from his words yestersday correctly." Durion seems to be nodding in agreement to where his train of thought is taking him, as he added, "and, Lanten at the lead means he is likely to be the first to react to the ghost, if it chooses to present itself to us."
Relayer
I take it my search turned up nothing?
Lanten Tiberiu
Lanten's evening errands prove to be a poor exepedition - the wizard's home remains a mystery - and he retires to the inn a little more weary.
Next morning, he thanks Abner for the gift. Upon arrival at the manor, he also gives the place a once-over - especially looking for means of entrance other then the front door. Windows or even a cellar door is always helpful to know as a secondary route.
Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 (+1 one more if it's trap-related)
"I'm obliged to follow the lovely lady's marching orders," he quips. "If you'll be so kind as to hand me the key, let's see if we can find this ghost early in the day b'fore he comes creeping around in the night hours." At Durion's added suggestions, he adds,"Our silent friend speaks..., and sage advice indeed. I'll defer to Lady Jane's advice on the matter - but I'd appreciate an extra trick up my sleeve."
Unless something else makes itself apparent from the Perception check or someone else adds further advice, Lanten will proceed ahead to the double doors and try the key.
Jane Silverheart
Jane looks at Durion with a look of approval, he hasn't said anything since they've all met yesterday.
"Sounds good, I have more weapons against the undead then most ... so take the extra 2 vials Lanten."
"Proceed to the door, and let Sarenrae's light guide us."
Ammian
Ammian moves along with the group, staying silent, and still with a minor headache from yesterday evenings drinking and gambling spree. As the group approaches the house, he frees his sword in his scabbard, checks his equipment one last time, and hands out his vial of holy water to Lanten as well, saying: "Here, I presume you'll make better use of this". As the door is being opened, he stretches and readies himself for the forthcoming mission, muttering: "Let's do this".

Jane Silverheart wrote:"Lanten, let me know if it's light enough to see...""Fair enough, 'though I'll need less of it to sneak around," he utters with a small wink.
So we have what...(4)humans,(1)half-elf, and (1)elf, right? Good to know for light conditions, etc.
5 Humans, 1 elf, 1 half-elf.
No one spots anything out of the ordinary in the garden or on the house. There are many windows around the house. Especially on the right (west) side of the house. You are entering from the North side. You also spotted two additional doors. One in the back with a closed porch and a set of double doors on the West side opening onto a balcony. The ground slopes down a little on the west side.
As you open the front door you note that the entrance hall has low light. Enough to see by, but not bright enough for the humans to make out much detail, especially colors.
Relayer
As you peer in, you see what appears to be the front entrance. A set of stairs appear in front of you, 15 feet wide leading to a landing that then splits into stairs leading east and west to the second floor. The floor and stairs are made of marble. The walls are made of a light colored oak. There are double doors on the east and west walls and a half door under the stairs on the right of the stairs.
There are sevearal pedestals in the room, some are empty and some have works of art on them, most busts of unknown people. The walls are lined with paintings. There are several spots where the paintings have been removed.
Lanten Tiberiu
Lanten raises an arm to indicate a pause. He looks around at the floor or walls to see if any footprints or imprints in the dust have been left in what is otherwise supposed to be an empty house. He's never heard of ghosts leaving footprints behind...
Perception:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Ammian
Ammian walks around the empty room to examine the pedestals and paintings while his footsteps make louds noises which he pretends to ignore. He makes a whole circle of the room, returning to the group after looking at all the art exhibits.
If nothing happens:
Ammian reapproaches the group and says: "Unless anyone senses something, nothing seems to be out of order here to my inexperienced eyes... Shall we move along?"
Elena Lovain
"Remember I have the map of the place," Elena reminds the team in case it became necessary during the exploration. "And would one of you magicky types give us a little light in here? I can't see anything."
Lanten Tiberiu
I can't seem to get the map to open on the website, so I'll have to assume I'm asking our studious bard for directions. ;-)
"Well, seems to me the creepiest places in your house - and the best place to hide stuff - is either in the basement or the attic. This disappearing wizard was some kind of surgeon as well - so maybe a library or lab is his favorite haunting spot instead. Well, that's my two coppers...," this last part is followed with a shrug.
"How about it Lady Elena, any of those rooms to be found in this place? "
Elena Lovain
"Lady Elena? I could get used to that," she answers in a low voice. She rummages through her pack for the map.
"There's a basement off from the pantry in the northwest part of this floor. And a wine cellar, humm. We'll have to check that out. On the second floor there is a chapel, a library, and something called a 'playroom.' God knows what that room is for. So, lead on, Lant, you make the call."

Did some one call TAPS?
Yea, Lant had to get time off from his plumbing job for this gig. ;-)
She rummages through her pack for the map.
"So, lead on, Lant, you make the call."
Lanten ponders the options, rubbing his chin in thought. "Well, I say we start from bottom to top then...head for the basement and the wine cellar," this last part with a wink in Elena's direction.
Unless there are further suggestions, he'll make his way to the door under the stairs that leads the the Butler's quarters and the hallway to the Kitchen. He'll continue to move cautiously, and check for anything else unusual along the way.
That sound right? Do you need me to make more checks yet?
Elena Lovain
"Good idea. We might have to spend a while in the wine cellar. We need to be sure his bottles haven't been poisoned by the ghost," she retorts, already planning on a couple bottles of wine making their way out with her. The boss had already said that would be fine...

Probably don't need to search for traps as this is a well used household. Somebody goes everywhere all the time.

In Elena's mind, he did...

The stairway down is rather wide and sturdy. You enter the lower pantry. The air here is cooler than upstairs. There are several crates, sacks and barrels, all fairly new and in good condition. One of the flour sacks has been gnawed open and been ranSACKed. There is one other exit to this room.
Elena Lovain
Looking through the pantry, Elena casts quick glances here and there, making sure to not overlook anything that might be key.

Lanten proceeds into the next room, guessing it is the wine cellar mentioned on the map. Assuming it is empty of anything other than wine bottles (or maybe a few rats), he start looking around - particluarly for any secret nooks or spots. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
"Who knows, maybe our ghost wizard buried a few "failed" experiments down here along with the wine."
