Hmmm, maybe I could soak the nerf darts in a contact paralytic.
Do what our parents did. Restrict them from cartoons all week and then only let them watch some on Saturday Mornings.
That way ...
you have one morning in silence.

We had vines that grew around out fence to the front yard and they made really good switches. :)
Here is a story from when I was younger that my Mom related to me...
My Mom had this method where she made sure to switch us until we cried so that she knew she wasn't letting us off too easy. Of course, we (my siblings and myself) figured this out pretty quickly.
Then, one day, I received a spanking from my Dad. Hand, no belt, he didn't use a switch...I immediately began to cry as soon as he began the whipping. Bad idea. He whipped me more but what made me feel the absolute worst were the words. :( No cursing. Basically, I was dressed down for acting like a baby.
Note: His words were a pretty accurate description.
Then my Mom gave me the next spanking/whippin' w/ a switch. She didn't know about the conversation I shared with my Father and I was not about to let him down. So, she switched me til I cried just like she always had in the past. She told me that she really felt bad about that switching later. :)

P.S. Woody, socred you the BoVD. Do you want MM III since Sharoth goofed?
Since I'm going to Cincy tomorrow, Woody, is there anything you're specifically hunting down? Let me know if there's an expenditure limit for you because I don't want to make you prematurely broke. :D
Sharoth - Got Magic of Faerun.
I'll take the MMIII if sharoth doesn't want it. and thanks for the BoVD. I am good for money right now.

Here I thought it should just be Fawltycon the east coast Paizocon.
But I cant come :(
Yeah, I'd throw one too, but I think it would be kind of difficult running a con out of the back of a 2001 Ford Explorer.

Ok. I'll just need to pick up that $2-$3 bestiary for the three of you and that should be good.
Sharoth - I got the Forbidden Kingdoms Pulp Book for $6.98 + tax ... but none of the other stuff you listed with regard to Malhavoc items. Looking for stuff down here in Cincy has been primarily a bust. Columbus is SOOOOOO much better for tracking down inexpensive gaming loot.
Woody, I can take you to a store nearby me when you're here in my neck of the woods so you can decide for yourself if there's anything else that holds your interest.
When I get back home tomorrow night, I'll tally up.

Thanks Urizen. Would you take a check for the total amount?

Yesterday morning was his last post, I believe. I didn't see any mention of absence for awhile. So, I hope everything is OK. But, then again, I figure it is probably that typical life has just taken precedence rather than emergency life. Anyone heard anything on FB?

Actually, I haven't been on FB at all today (I'm on my woman's mother's laptop (her dad got her an iPod Nano for her birthday so my job was to go out and purchase said item and start syncing it through her laptop. A laborious tedious project). I'll probably check on it tomorrow morning. I do hope things are ok, but like you said -- personal life may (and should) take precedence.

No, it is not a rubber check. OTOH, they do have my bank up there son at worse case, I can withdraw the money.

Ok. Once you have the whole amount for the books, I will get you the cash.

Cool! I may take another sweep on Tuesday to see if anything else turns up, but that should be about it (still need to pick up those bestiaries).

One hot HP box: AMD quad core, 8GB RAM, 1T disk, 23" LCD display, printer/scanner/copier combo, lots of goodies thrown in. It's a bundle but it will last us for years. The HP compy Studpuffin mostly uses is going on 5 now and runs great.
Uh-oh, I just jinxed the Puffin.
I've been interleaving computer time with him to get anything done on my campaigns, and I absolutely cannot get the printer he uses to feed paper. He's got the touch; I do not. I am happy now.
Everyone sounds jazzed about the mini-FAWTL con in MB next weekend. Hope you guys have a great nerdly time! And congrats to Doc Mairk on the offishul awarding of the PhD. Bet the robes looked splendid, kinda like a Blood Cultist of Vol.

Howdy folks. Just got back from Delaware, where some friends and I visited the Dogfish Head. They do a 30 or so minute tour of the facility, then you hang out in the gift shop/bar and sample up to four beers.
After that, we went to the Dogfish Head brew pub, had dinner, watched the Preakness, then strolled along the nearby boardwalk.
After all that, we retired to a condo belonging to one of the guy's parents, where we gamed until after midnight.
Slept, then drove back this morning.

Yeah, it was. The only sad part was that a couple of my other friends were unable to go.
Edit: And on that note, gotta go find some food. We got on the road early to come back and stopped at McDonalds for breakfast, but I haven't had anythign since.
