Does anyone else remember the Dragon Magazine article about using music with campaigns. They also gave a list of songs for the Savage Tide campaign and the points in the campaign to use them. I think they should make new soundtracks for the Pathfinder Adventure Paths. Anyone agree with me on this?
Completely agreed. I'm using a lot of Final Fantasy IX music for Second Darkness right now; trying to keep up a good sense of familiarity with the players and such. Not sure what I want to use with Curse of the Crimson Throne, but I suppose it'll be another JRPG since it feels the most... complete.

On fileplanet.com, please check for game soundtracks. I've found the Obsidian soundtrack, some new music files for it. Also, the Witcher game had some excellent scoring, and there is a companion fileset for Witcher Inspired Music. One song on there, Born Again, by Rootwater, is amazing. Also, you can find stuff for Unreal II (horrid game, good sci-fi music), and other treasures.
And it is free.
Go, kids!

Dead can Dance/Lisa Gerrard Host of Seraphim sounds appropiate for Seven Days to the Grave, especially when the bodies start piling up....A little overdone but Mozart's Requiem is also a good fit.
OST From Hellraiser one and two is perfect for Skeletons of Scarwall, and in general for the creepy Zon Kuthon encounters within the AP.
Curse of the Crimon throne should have a mixture of grand sounds from Bach to something from the OST Conan Soundtrack. It has its epic momments as well as its classy momments
The Soundtrack of Silent hill from the games would be great for The SkinSaw murders.
For Hook Horror Mountain Massacre find some backwater hillbilly music, and if you can have your pcs before coming to the session watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre the original, and The Hills Have Eyes the original one as well to put them on edge.
In General Rotl needs darker sounds considering most of the AP was inspired by alot of different horror movies. You could throw Sukkubus/Inkubbus in there as well. Somehow Dies Irae Comes to mind when fighting Karzoug The Rune Lord
Second Darkness is a little strange as an AP. I would say something dark and futuristic. Cant e

That's a great idea. I like Sonic Legends quite a bit. Lately I've been trying to work on a few songs of my own for Crimson Throne.

I heard some samples of that on the Tome show. They sounded very nice

I use a lot of film soundtracks, and a very nice little gem of a soundtrack for Hook Horror would certainly be from the film RAVENOUS. A darn eerie collection of tunes. I even used it when playing through some of Castle Scarwall - very unsettling.
Other film-inspired recommendations:
-Brotherhood of the Wolf
-Rambo (the latest one, seriously)
-Doomsday
-(Jet Li's) Fearless
-Children of Dune
-Stardust
-and of course, 300.
