May I ask what your Rise of the Runelords party is made up of?

Rise of the Runelords

may i ask what characters were in your rise of the runelords game, whether it be current or over.

any characters that participated may count, i'd like to see character names, gender, race, class, and a brief bio, special notes may be added. please remember any player characters, whether they were a players deceased character, or a player that left, no matter how short. please, don't use the player's real names, or at least thier full names. and specify your pc as yourself.

Current party (core only 3.5) ( w/ pathfinder identify rules and some pathfinder equipment)

Lady Nox of Turtleback Ferry, Female Human (Chelexian) wizard 7 loremaster 6 (ecl 13), provides knowledge checks, the party's primary source of haste, identifies items, and uses wands of CLW when the cleric isn't able to do so, w/ 10% chance of failure and 5% chance of backfire (+16 vs. dc 20)

Lord Tordek Of Sandpoint, male dwarf fighter 13, wields a waraxe and starknife, drops evil outsiders and evil giants in 1 round given they don't have damage reduction. forgets to power attack. usually hits on a 2 or better with all his attacks except 1, (he gets 5), he forgets to update his bonuses too.

Iron Warlord Gorth of Sandpoint, male 1/2 orc battle cleric of gorum 13, casts righteous might, power attacks, crits on 17-20, rolls at least 10d6, when hasted, more like 20. plus a static bonus of at least +30 something per hit, wields a greatsword, kills things faster than tordek.

Grandmaster Himo of the house of the blue stone, Elf monk 13, gets 5 attacks, has +5 holy fists, thinks of odd improvised strategies that become player induced deus ex machina.

Daevon of sandpoint; male human (varisian) druid 3 wizard 3 mystic thuerge 6, (ecl 12) he died twice, lost 2 wolves and a falcon, and now has a hawk and a sentient animated bush, his hawk contributed more than he. he throws scorching rays and magic missles with 30% failure from wearing hide armor and a heavy wooden sheild, he heals through a wand, and rarely uses any druid spells other than entangle and the highest level summon natures ally he can cast. he's more of a redundant combat mage, why couldn't he be a swiss army knife instead?

characters who may or may not stay

for lack of his name, i will call him grizzly adams, male human ranger 5 rogue 5, contributes rules arguements on a regular basis, made the mistake of archery sneak attacks without a ring of blinking, his arrows missed more than they hit, he tried to sneak 3rd party feats and got caught. may get to be level 12 through xp loan if he comes back

unknown 12th level character, yep, a new guy will join at 12th, he watched on 23rd, has to go to something else the 30th and may come one the 6th. he may a rogue a cleric or some odd combination

characters who left

Victor sharp, male human (varisian) ranger 6 fighter 2, he stopped in november, was an archer, did tracking and that's it.

Nathan river, male 1/2 elf ranger 3 rogue 5, 2 weapon specialization, out of character, he was a friend of victor's player, and both used me as a meal ticket. both stopped showing in november at the same time.

Deceased characters

Punami (DM did the naming without my permission) female human (tian-min) rogue 8, did the twin daggers thing, wore a kimono, took care of the traps really well. used sleight of hand to make money through cheap parlor tricks, rather than thievery. couldn't convince even the most gullible. she could rip them though. she was my 2nd pc.

St. Luminiere Del Solaras I, Chaste female human, (chelexian) cleric 7 my 1st pc out of 3, in this campaign, dm did random encounter with stirges, rolled targets randomly, Lumi got gang leeched by 5 and died.

Polgara, trashy female Elf wizard 4, daevon's original pc. daevon is on 3rd life of 2nd pc (4th life if you count both), meaning 3 deaths, daevon also lost 2 wolves and a falcon, now he has a raven and a bush. he made a fuss about plant companions, the only reason he hasn't died a few more times, is because of his 90 day hiatus. Polgara cost the party tons in remove disease spells. he has the record of most deaths.

i die an average of 3 times in 15 levels. not counting the night of 5 tpks where the whole group died 5 times. back in shackled city. 1 of my characters went evil by a failed wisdom check (darn shugenja) most of my other characters were a case of, "I lost my sheet, is it ok if i use a stand in for now?"

polgara/daevon dies an average of once a mod to twice and a mod and a half.

The Exchange

We have Solnes Akashia, F Elf Druid, has a fun wolf companion named Avain. Acts as our primary combat spell caster. 11th level.

Rory Velarin, M Half Elf, Rog3/Ranger5/Rauthar3. Total Archer build, helluva good tracker to boot. For some reason has scored more crits than every one else combined. Son of Hannah Velarin from Sandpoint.

Alak Everdusk, M Half Drow/Elf. Clr6/Ftr4, duel sword weilder( But NOT a Drizzt clone.), primary healer, now if his libido didn't cause so much trouble.

Severin Florin, M Elf Brd2/Pal9. New addition, child friend of Solnes, despite being a Pali has a wicked sense of humor, and a temper that might get him in trouble someday.... ok WILL get him in trouble.

Dead. Jayne Casey, M Human Ftr10. Died on a friggin side quest helping Solnes out. Was a multi weapon monster who devestated anything in his path, and despite having poor Will, never missed a save.

Alak has died twice, both times at the hands of some sort of serpent creature, he's kinda skittish around snakes now....

Huh, that's weird. There was like a 100 post long thread about this exact same topic around here somewhere...

Here it is :)

Liberty's Edge

Ran the first session tonight. We have:

Astrid Whesterwill (N female human Bard 1) Courrin Whesterwill's younger, wilder sister. Fascinated by ancient Thassilonian ruins and legends.

Roland Stark (NG male human Fighter 1) A human warrior from a farm in the Sandpoint hinterlands. Gaven Deverin started to train him in swordplay after Wade was murdered by Chopper five years ago. Has so far made excellent use of the Cleave feat when it comes to carving up goblins.

Beyla Shalefist (NG female dwarf Cleric of Torag 1) A dwarven acolyte sent to observe the Swallowtail festival, since several Janderhoff stonemasons were key in constructing the new cathedral. She has her eye on the Combat Medic prestige class.

Brohm (LN male half-orc Wizard (abjurer) 1) The surly and overweight magic-user of the group. Grew up in the Underbridge district of Magnimar. As a youth he couldn't find anyone willing to take a half-orc on as an apprentice, so he's been studying with hermits and hedge wizards. He's vowed to return to Magnimar powerful and respected.

Scarab Sages

Starting next month (sorry, I don't know the character names although most players already picked one...)
1: Male Gnome Scout (Complete Adventurer), resident of the Sandpoint Hinterlands, associate of mapmaker Veznutt Parooh.
2: Male Dwarven Priest(Tome of Secrets) of Torag, young sage interested in ancient History
3: Female Dwarven Fighter (Weapon and Shield fighting Domain from Monte Cooks book of experimental might), weaponsmith gone bodyguard of the priest.
4: Female Varisian Bard (Book of Eldritch might variant), from a family of travelling entertainers, friends of the Magravi Family)and her cousin
5: Female Half Elven Sorceress (bearing the birthmark of Ragario (evocation, wrath)) having recently returned from a dissappointing trip to mierani where she wanted to learn about her elven heritage, met a sympathetic Shalelu on her way there.

Shadow Lodge

Pathfinder Rulebook, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

The party, now offically calling themselves Life and Death, had an a fatal encounter last night. The party recently finished The Skin saw Murders and pushed to move to Seven Sword of Sin

Araseh (LNfemale tiefling monk//cleric 7); Raised as an orphan in Isger and taught the ways of Hamatalatsu and worship od Asmodues. After a failed attempt to recover the seven swords she plots her next move and what to do with Grom.

Grom (CG? male dwarf ranger 7); Loking for adventure joined the group after their success in stopping the Skinsaw Murders. Unforunately showed a darker and more cowardly side on a trip to Kaer Maga. In town Grom and friend Cyran took part in slave trading finding the experience quiet fun. While exploring a lab in search for the Seven Sword of Sin the party was attack by half-fiendish repitles and there riders. After watching hos closest associate Cyran fall to the charging creature Grom left the lab and his friends behind to deal with creatures.

Cyran (CN male human rogue 7); A cutpurse and poisoner from Riddleport. Meet the party on their way to Magnamar, and seeing them as a source of money decided to join. Took part in slave trading in Kaer Maga. Unforunately meet his end in the tunnels below Kaer Maga.

Katrina (NG female elf wiz//clr 7); Cold, overly prideful, and a powerful hatred for Grom. After recieving a vision promising untold magical power, she sought out the tiefling Araseh. Together they battled Xanesha and formed Life and Death. During their travels to and in Kaer Maga she found her emotions attitude becoming darker. Showing no restraint in killing an elven slave girl who insulted her. After splitting from the party in the tunnels below town, she found no reason to follow the dwarfs orders on what tunnel to proceed, she heard the screams of battle. When she arrived the dwarf was no where to be seen and Araseh and Cyran were both laying on the floor. Beside them the corpse of a fiendish goblin and it's mount. Seeing that the rogue was beyond help she manuevered around the remaining goblin and his steed to heal the Araseh. Araseh revived finished the last goblin, but not before the reptile pounced and devoured Katrina.

**Both Katrina and Araseh are gestalt characters. When I began the Burnt Offering 4 of the other orignal players left due to personal reasons leaving only Katrina and Araseh. To make up for lack of players at that time I allowed them to use the option. Both Cyran and Grom have been offered but settled on normal characters.

RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

Pulling from my entry in that "Other Thread" ...

We started "Burnt Offerings" with four characters, but the fifth (Jezkah) joined us for the start of "The Skinsaw Murders"

Here is what we have:

Saffire of Clan Abd Zada: (½Elf Female Sorcerer [Elemental: Fire] - Female Player) Auburn haired, Saffire's blue-green eyes sparkle with emotion (positive or negative) that she is very ready to show to those around her. Half-Varisian and half-elven, all sorcerous fire, she is the more volatile half of the cousin-twins. Where her sister-cousin has accepted their father's offer into the "family", the lithe sorceress has clung to her Varisian heritage, including the adornment of her body with magical Varisian tattoos. She prefers to go barefoot and wears Varisian dancing garb in preference to other clothing -- the less the better. While a perfect mimic of her sister, Saffire is finding as she gains more abilities from her fire touched blood, the less alike the pair are becoming.

Emyralda Urindarohesarin, of Clan Abd Zada: (½Elf Female Rogue - Female Player) Much more self-contained than her sister-cousin, Emyralda is nevertheless her twin in looks. Auburn haired with green-blue eyes, she can act as wanton as Saffire, while never quite following through on the promise. Sleak and stealthy, the rogue enjoys the challenge of the chase and the hunt, as well as figuring out puzzles that her sister would rather blast to pieces. Her preferred style of dress is form-fitting and supple, though not showing as much skin as her sorceress twin. When the need arises, the pair can switch places and mimic each other to perfection, though their lives paths are diverging, making that game more and more difficult.

Gamunar Cat-eyes: (Human [Shoanti] Male Ranger - Female Player) So named due to his golden-brown eyes and love of felines, "Gam" is 6'5", 234 lb., and a Sklar-Quah Shoanti ranger-fighter, still trying to make up his mind between the two. He'd like a firepelt animal companion, but wonders if that would work well now that he's developing a horse string of his own, combining the best of a heavy warhorse stallion's lines with the lines of light warhorse and riding mares (his father was Shriikirri-Quah originally), when he's not on the trail of something nasty threatening Sandpoint...and more especially, the dwarven cleric he was sent to guard on her travels here. He blames/credits his mother's original Shundar-Quah diplomatic leanings for his actually helping these Chelaxian frontiersmen, and not doing his best to drive them from the area; at least, they broke away from their evil empire, and since the sheriff there is Shoanti, they must have something decent going for them.

Ilda Sunroamer: (Dwarven Female Cleric [Sarenrae] - Female Player) So named due to her "unnatural" (some might even say, "un-dwarvish") delight in the sun on the mountainside, Ilda found within her a religious calling for Sarenrae, of all deities. Her skills as a goldsmith and her clan's glory and strong ties to Janderhoff's elite helped win her some acceptance, but when the church out at Sandpoint asked for a Sarenrae follower to be sent, the vote was unanimous that she should be given the chance to represent her people and do them proud. Recently, she has discovered a holy symbol of the Dawnflower with her smith master's mark on it in the hands of the unwashed, so she hopes that it had merely gotten separated from a shipment and that her old master is still alive and well back at the delve, and wasn't waylaid trying to get it to her.

Jezkah Sorrow-Weaver: (Human [Shoanti] Female Barbarian - Male Player) She's a Shoanti Barbarian, rather tall for a female (5' 11"), shaved head with a screaming skull tattooed on the back of her head expressing her displeasure at all who try to sneak up behind her. Her skin is tanned from being outdoors most of her life. Her build is slender but very well muscled, and not very chesty but doesn't worry about such things. There are much more important things to find out in the Evil Civilized World than a mate.

I'm the DM...so I'm not going to bother listing all the NPCs I'll likely be running through the course of this campaign...

For PCs we have...

A tengu monk. His name has changed recently, and I don't recall what was finalized. Often wields an elvin curved blade.

An elvin cleric of the drinking god. Don't recall the character name at the moment. Has spent most of his time patching people up after the goblin raid while everyone else went to the hagfish and throughup tank water...go figure...

An elvin necromancer played by a very skilled table top wargamer who is fairly new to RPGs and hasn't decided a name yet. Came late to the campaign, so has only played in one short session (in which he butchered [or rather set up for butcher] the main villian of the first book).

Adrian, the human fighter...who was the one who did the manual brutalization of said main villian. He is currently investigating sightings of the Sandpoint devil...and is so far the only player who's shown any signs of being interested in writing a character background and being involved in the plot.

A halfling summoner/oracle with strong voodoo themes. Player was formerly running an elvin ranger, but decided to change characters for the playtest.

A human rogue who followed the party up to thistletop, claiming to be the owner of the stolen horse. Is a fullfledged member of the party, though isn't 100% trusted by everyone just yet.

We also have a dwarven wizard, who's player hasn't shown up yet, and a new player who's thinking of playing a bard.

Right now the party has basically finished Burnt Offerings, though they missed Erylium's area the first go around, and have been hired by the sherif to go back and take care of it. Adrian, the necromancer, and the summoner/oracle finished up in thistletop, while the rest took captives from the glassworks to magnimar for legal punishments. Hopefully I can get everyone back together for Erylium.

For the first time I'm running a game without experience. So far I've just guessed about what level people need to be at various points durring the campaign, and had them level up when the rest beforehand...now, if they end up not resting before jumping into something big, they might have problems. Hasn't happpened yet though.

Sovereign Court

I'm going to list all characters in the current game and current status

Landon- Human Sorcerer/Oracle (flame)- Been in the game since the beginning, has yet to die, has become a bit cynical and sarcastic.

Mal- Elven Ranger- Deceased, fell to Ripnugget in Burnt Offerings party may have plans to revive.

Gorm- Human Monk- Deceased, fell to Malfeshnekor in Gogmurt's Revenge (side adventure) player has left group.

Skye- Halfling Rogue- Swashbuckling investigator, used the towns gratefulness after the incident at the crosby farm to start the Sandpoint Detective Agency. Light hearted with a bit of a selfish streak, he has proven quite effective with Ripnugget's dogslicer combined with his rapier. (this was the character that replaced Mal)

Draven- Human fighter- Selfish and self centered, Draven got things done in the easiest way possible current whereabouts are unknown, last seen in Magnimar dealing with a bar wench suing him for breach of promise. Player left group.

Cao- Human Monk- A sickly young lad, Cao took to the monk lifestyle hoping to find an answer to his poor health, quiet and intelligent he is investigating the death of Sabyl and the auctioning off of the house of blue stones property. He has tracked the party (Landon and Belor were the last people to see Sabyl alive) to a haunted house just south of Sandpoint where he agreed to work with them in order to procure funds to restore the house of the blue stones to its former status.

I've posted the group before, but , well our group has had a few ups and downs, but the present party is:

Verios: Elven Diviner Wizard (lvl 2) from Celwynvian. The level headed leader and tactician of the group. More of a buffer mage than a blaster, he also has most of the knowledge skills in the party. (For offence, he has the Wand of Earth's Ire and Brightflame Dagger from ITHW...which he almost always maxes out for damage, and a Wand of Magic Missiles that the party pooled $$ together to get him for ranged support.

Kitt: Halfelf Fighter/ Rogue (lvl 1/1) from Riddlesport. And his pet dog Blade. Kitt is a semi-successful theif and team goofball. He has a strange affectation with wearing pretty dresses (or at least one in particular) and is unsubtle when trying to be a rogue. By far the most materialistic and greedy party member, he still throws down against evil regardless of the odds. This would be a flaw if he wasn't more successful. Successfully drank the Hagfish water (after 2 failures) and is lucky at Bounder gambling. Also the group linguist.

Skillum Queeg: Ulfen/Varisian Paladin Of Sarenrae (lvl 2)from Riddlesport. Ex-murderer (cannibal) who found salvation in prison. Now trying to redeem for his past evils. Friend of Kitt's from prison. It has been speculated that all the trouble the party gets into is part of some elaborate trial put on Skillum by Sarenrae. Team heavy, for a while the only front line combatant in the party and still the only member with a strength bonus higher than +0... For a while he was trying to romance Ameiko, but they are too different. Though they are still very good friends (we'll see what happens as they just rescued her from the Glassworks this week.) His shining moment so far has been his back to back critical hits, with Smite Evil, while Enlarge Person'd on the Sandpoint Devil. Maybe Sarenrae isn't so crazy.

Jakk: Halfelf Spellblade/ Rogue (lvl 1/1)from Riddlesport. Distant relation to Kitt. For a while he was a serious rake. There is no Casanova in Golarian, but Jakk's name might become as famous. Party has already referred to seducing someone as "Jakking them". Willingly walked into the Vinder trap. Witout regrets. But now trying to find actual love / the one...(As Verios has commented "by trial and error"). Big fan of Harrow readings. Team's main archer. He also tried to pickpocket Kaye Teserani, and got caught, during the Festival. (He ended up manacled just before the goblin attack.) Now making a few moves towards Estle and Shelelu.

Estle: Human (?) Hedge Witch (lvl 2) from Wolf's Crossing [crossroads community south of Wolf's Ear] (NPC). Adopted by the party during Into the Haunted Woods (moved to Churlwood). Team healer and herbalist. Very unsure of her magical ablilities and a bit overwhelmed by the world outside of her small town. Unsure of how to deal with the Sandpointers and their reaction to the party's heroics. Closest to Verios (who shares her love of magic) and Jakk (whose bed hopping antics she finds amusing).

Party has at times had 2 different clerics of Shelyn, and a new player might be coming in as a halforc barbarian...

My Party is at the rooftop of the Shadow Clock. They just realized that they cannot hear each other nor anything else. :) The player of the wizard has been calling me nasty names the entire ride home. :)

I stopped there for a 14 day hiatus ( its hard to game over a Valentine's day weekend )

I am using PF created characters and no other books. I am also using a 15 point ability buy. I did allow them max HP levels 1-3 and rolls in front of me after that. 1's remain 1's. We started the weekend after PF became available. This is the most fun I have EVER had running an RPG in my 25 years of gameplay.

Paclore CN human rogue 5 (varisian of Riddleport) a hot tempered fellow. Often more a thug than a thief. the player is hard of hearing so many times just thinks the npc's are making fun of him and punches them instead of asking me for clairification. ( fond of the sneak attack fisticuffs ) He has narrowly missed arrest several times. Enjoys matching acrobatic maneuvars against the party monk.

Hobar LN human monk 6 ( a varisian orphan of sandpoint, yet is most chelaxian in outlook *shrugs* ) Refers to himself as "Hobar the Humble, Hero of Sandpoint." And no, I do not think he is actually aware of the irony in that statement. :) Enjoys falling in lust/love with any semi-attractive npc encountered. Argued for clemency for Nualia ( even after learning of what she was willingly doing. ) Is famed in the party for wishing to leave battles half done when ever he has reached half hitpoint. " Look! Paclore is hurt. We should retreat, rest, and heal before we go to the next room! " So far he has let it be known his intent to marry, the lady mayor of Sandpoint, the Irori shrine's keeper, both of Vin's daughters, Nualia, the bard owner of the Rusty Dragon, and many others. They have been in Sandpoint five weeks game time. Is fond of teasing the party wizard.

Valor NG Elven wizzie 6 (universal) He maxed his int and his knowledge rolls in every knowledge are...legendary :/ He makes up for it by wearing a mask (comic book's Grifter style) and being very offensive ( he is good about role playing that he truely beleives there is no one as smart as himself.) HE actually is coming close to changing alignment to LG and is currently a devoted follower of Iomedae. His character believes in righting wrongs. He also is very upset with the party ranger.

Batista CG dwarf ranger 4 a very wealthy ranger. Is prone to strange fits and inappropriate times. While Shaleylu was giving the rundown of the gobbly tribes, he called her a liar. So she left. During the battle with Aldern, the player's rolls were going badly, so he had Batista stop and face the wall with his back to Aldern. OH OH OH ya, while Aldern the Ghast was talking and going to share information to the pc's, Batista starts yelling " SKinsaw man! WHere is he!!! Bring him here! Skinsaw Man!!!" over and over and over. SO I brought him :) This player misses about one in three sessions and is my second worst to show up.

Born CN HalfOrc Barb 1 this player begged to join the group. Came for the first three sessions.. then left. Never seen again. I think he prefers 40k and warmachine to RPG's. Don't know...cuz never have seen him again *shrugs*

Ardis LG Pally 4 Newcomer to group/ old friend returned to gaming. Quite excited he joined back with us. He showed up right after they battled Aldern. His character also worships Iomedae. He hasn't gotten brave as a player yet and still lets others make too many decisions, but that is starting to disappear. The monk's clamouring to run awa...er strategically withdrawl after every battle is starting to wear thin upon him. And though he is VERY good at managing his healing of the party, I can see the begging for him to "lay on hands" after any member is scratched is starting to wear thin as well.

I cannot wait for this next battle. ( I told them to have alt characters ready, just in case it is a party wipe :) ) I love this game.

wasgreg

"Raven"
CN male elf wizard/fighter. Raven is a quiet, intense wanderer. Outcast from his people following a deadly duel over a maiden with a rival, Raven has given up his name and clan. He shows a brave, emotionless front but he secretly shows a compassionate side and yearns for a home. Prefers archery and has a knack for the timely use of an Invisibility spell.

Wesley Arentus
LG male human paladin. A young, idealistic youth with a calling from Iomedae, Wesley is the son of a Korvosa guardsmen. He learned the use of a longsword from his father but felt a pull by the goddess to serve her. His mentor in the church, a retired paladin turned cleric, asked him to deliver a message to his niece and her betrothed. He is basically a good guy, loyal and trustworthy. He has a bit of a temper when he sees bullies.

Brigit Littlelaughs
N female halfling rogue/fighter. Quick with a sharp word or a thrown dagger, Brigit is the first generation of free-born in her family after being kept as slaves in Westcrown. She is determined to see the world and has spent time as both a burglar and merchant guard. She is a decent rider but a fast climber. Her weapon of choice is the thrown dagger.

Tarl Bloodaxe
CG male dwarf cleric/barbarian. A battleaxe swinging berserker, Tarl delights in directing his righteous fury against the evil, the wicked and the oppressive. He is as strong as an ogre, and considers any weapon not driven by muscle to be pointless. Consequently, he does not use a bow or crossbow but has been known to throw a javelin clean through a marauding orc. He loves a strong drink, a good fight and to see good triumph over evil.

Here's my party's update

Current party

Lady Nox of Turtleback Ferry, Female Human (Chelexian) wizard 7 loremaster 6 (ecl 13) she contributed greatly to a white dragon's destruction. she is proving to be a lot more useful.

Lord Tordek Of Sandpoint, male dwarf fighter 13
still the same, but he wiped out an iron golem that was modeled after a runelord.

Iron Warlord Gorth of Sandpoint, male 1/2 orc battle cleric of gorum 13, he used to kill quickly, now he is running out of good feats to choose. and his decline is beginning. at least gorth conjures good heroes feasts.

Grandmaster Himo of the house of the blue stone, Elf monk 13, he, like gorth, is reaching his decline. he may spike a little upward at 16th. his only options left are the 2 weapon fighting chain.

Daevon of sandpoint; male human (varisian) druid 3 wizard 3 mystic thuerge 6, (ecl 12) he is in a strange predicament, he lost his bush, and he may need a new character sheet soon.

the new guys were no shows.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, my "group" is about to tackle Thisletop in Burnt Offerings. When I say group, it is a misnomer as I'm running this AP for my wife. She has a gestalt sorcerer/bard that has been boosted up (more skill points, hp and spells and she gets a firepelt as her familiar). For the Catacombs, she was joined by an Inquisitor of Desna and a Cavalier of the Order of the Star to clean un Lamashtu scum!

It's going pretty well. However, my wife has to remember sometimes that retreat IS an option! :-)

We just started the campaing. The party is just back from a boar hunt with Aldern Foxglove, and a little chat on the goblins with the Sheriff and the elf ranger chick. We use PF sourcebooks only, no 3.5 (will be trying to get some third party PF supplements accepted by the GM).

Party is:

Ainslan: Me, Human male LG Fighter. Started adventuring to prove his worth in hopes on one day becoming an Eagle Knight of Andoran. Uses a longsword and shield, for now at least. Brave (brash?) and ever-ready to prove his worth, he has cleaved trough a good deal of goblins during the attack, including the warchanter and the dog-rider. Aldern Foxgleve seems to fancy him a lot.

Ulder: Male Human True Neutral Cleric of Pharasma (or so he says). Carries around a scythe he doesnt seem to use. Channels negative energy, and tough he has the selective channel feat, seem to have a hard time to put himself into position to channel without hurting the party or bystanders. Very knowledgeable and ever ready to jump into the fray, he's somewhat cheap on healing spells.

Costa: Male Gnome rogue, alignment unknown. Not much to say yet. Tends to get targetted rather quick by goblins, but great at forced entries in locked houses (like the Vender house, to check if there's really a rat infestation in the basement...)

Darkan: Male Human sorcerer of Arcane bloodline. Egocentric and somewhat snobish. Tends to favor the use of dangerous tactics of "blasting from up close and personnal" (burning hands). Shayliss came to him when he was strolling around to with Ainslan, asking him to come "alone" to solve a rat problem in her basement. Both adventurers tought it might be a trap, and when Darkan insited that Ainslan should come along, since it would be more effective with two person to clear the rats, she turn around and left, apparently insulted.

??? : Female human sorcerer of Fey bloodline. Played only for the introduction session yet. Next session should yield more information on her temperament, whereabouts and motives.

Will add more info as the campaign advances (next session tomorow). Great game as of yet.
