I was watching the 11pm news and heard them talk about rumors of Facebook possibly passing on a monthly fee to users in June. This is an article I saw about it after that segment. Anyone hear anything about this? I just joined last month and I'd be bummed if it came to that.
I've only been on it a month, so it's still too early for me to say. I will say that since I'm not much of a socializer (I loathe talking on the phone for starters), it at least helps me keep up with what my friends and family are up to -- better than getting that yearly Christmas Card letter with the family yammering on about how their year was and how awesome their children was and why my life isn't as excellent as theirs. yadda yadda yadda.
Maybe Google will swallow it whole. Who knows. At least I've not gotten myself into playing any of the FB games ... even though I continually get requests to do so. :P

I wouldn't take it too seriously.
The only thing that added any weight to 'facebook=pay' was ONE person attached to Facebook who (in passing) suggested that they had considered a 'premium service', the suggestion being that you might have virtual stores or customised backgrounds or a vanity url. It was only a suggestion, and only in passing.
Still, that didn't stop a metric ton of people rallying to a group proclaiming they wouldn't pay a fee...even though they were never asked to :p
It's actually a very good utility, and enjoy it for what it is.
Pathfinder Devs migh consider a Pathfinder app like the D&D Tiny Adventures, Id use it!
If you see that particular "fan of" it's a malware trap, DO NOT click it, if you did, run your anti-virus and clean it.
