Has anyone heard if Necromancer games is still in business ?
I went to the website and the last time it was updated was March of 2009. They said that they were working on some Pathfinder items and 4th edition stuff. I am mainly wondering about Judges Guild items. I have been a fan of them for a long time. Was looking forward to them redoing Tegel Manor in the latest D&D version.

I don't see Clark staying out of the Business very long. He is around here somewhere give him a few and he may well answer you himself.

Necromancer is essentially on haitus.
They recently released three adventures in pdf form and we are waiting on a print-on-demand option.
Depending on sales of those modules, it will determine if sequels are produced.
As for publishing products for 4e, it looks like it's not going to happen. Pathfinder remains up in the air.
Necromancer's license with Judges Guild expired when Bob Bledsaw passed away, so no more Judges Guild from Necro.

James Mishler http://adventuregamespublishing.blogspot.com/ self publishes his own version of JG Wilderlands of High Fantasy setting using the C&C rules. But the stuff he does is not "official" from what I understand.

James Mishler operating as Adventure Games Publishing has a license/agreement to produce an alternate version of the Wilderlands known as Wilderlands of High Adventure. It is in fact for C&C. That said, much of the material is system neutral. He probably had the closest relationship with Bob Bledsaw in the last years and is a repository of Bob's unpublished thoughts and ideas. James' work has been released in fits and starts and not all of it is exclusively Wilderlands. As mentioned he is self publishing so his work is a combination of PDF and digest size print.

More recently Robert Conley has obtained a license. He too has an alternate version of the Wilderlands. The Majestic Wilderlands is essentially his Wilderlands campaign as developed over 20-years. He is writing for the Swords & Wizardry retro-clone of OD&D.

I have heard rumors that Eostros Games (the creative force behind Goodman Games d20 Wilderlands releases) would like to work out a deal to do more material. Perhaps things that Greg Geilman had once worked on when employed at Judges Guild.

Geoff Dale has been talking about self publishing a giant campaign expanding Judges Guild's Inferno (rights were released back to him).

A manuscript for Tula: City of Mages exists. Who knows if it will ever see the light of day.

While Necromancer Games itself may not be active, do not forget that a couple of the people from there started Frog God Games to continue the Slumbering Tsar adventure line using the PF rules. Also, the Necromancer Games forums are at least functioning and people do post there. As for Judges Guild, the death back in 2009 of Robert Bledsaw, the founder of the company, halted things there, though there has been some effort to keep the company going, as www.judgesguild.org is at least up to date as of Spring or 2009.

As of 3/28 I see three new products from Necromancer...they are sold seperatly but they are dual products same thing for D&D 4e and Patherfinder.
1. Northland Saga Part 1
2. Splinters of faith
3. Strange Bedfellows
Currently sold at RPGNow.com....
Im hoping that Paizo gets them soonest cause I would like to see some reviews by the crew here.

With the loss of most if not all of the 3.5 stuff to Frog God Games unless he comes out with something really new and eye catching I'm a little pessimistic for his chances. Having TOH complete and a Rappan Attuk PF conversion would have rreally helped him. Now you have many PF compaitable publishers so imo he has a fight on his hands.

Those are all actually from Frog God Games, I am not sure why they are listed at Necromancer games on RPGNow.

I was wondering that myself when those popped up.

Those are all being produced by FrogGod Games, Bill Webb's separate company. They exist for both Pathfinder RPG and Swords & Wizardry rules.
My only guess as to why RPGNow might have them listed as Necromancer products is that possibly Bill is utilizing an already established set up of theirs.
Here is the link to FrogGod Games.
