Regarding my Gift Certificate

Customer Service

Hello.

I have a question about my gift certificate, and about redeeming it, as I think I might have "goofed" and clicked on "Redeem a Gift Certificate" (which I did to see if there were specific instructions about how to use it during a purchase/checkout). But when I entered in the claim code it said it had been redeemed... but I hadn't made my order or purchase yet. Have I really fouled things up, and "lost" my gift certificate? Or is there an easy "fix" and I'm worried over nothing? (Please, please let it be the latter.)

Thanks in advance.

Redeeming a gift certificate converts it into store credit, which you may use at your leisure. You'll see it—and be able to apply it—at checkout.

I think all is well.

I started shopping and as I went to checkout it indicated that a store credit of $50.00 was applied to the order. (This would be order #1339418)

However, my email seems to indicate that my card will be charged the full price (without the $50 gift certificate/store credit taken off) so I'm a little confused by that. Did I still mess up somehow? Or will this rectify(sp?) itself once the order is shipped/processed?

Once again, thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Dean

Vic, thanks for replying so quickly, and here's hoping you see this post (and my previous one) and can help me out (again).

I saw the "Store Credit" and thought it was applied to the order I just made (the aforementioned #1339418) but as I looked at my order history it also seems to show the "full" amount not the "less store credit" amount. Can I somehow apply the store credit, now, before my card is charged? Or can you or someone at Customer Service do that?

I hate messing up really simple things. :(

Hmm... I also looked at the order page again, and it seems to show or indicate that it took the $50 off and that my payment amount will be $59.70, not the full $109.70

Is that right? (Please, let that be right.)

Thanks again.

The gift certificate was applied to order 1339418. The card ended up being authorized twice but we haven't shipped the order yet, so we haven't put the actual charge through. When we do, it should go through for 59.70.

thanks,
Sara Marie

Sara Marie thank you for putting my mind at ease. Whew. I'm glad that's all taken care of.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... the superb customer service is just one of the many reasons I enjoy Paizo's products, company, and its employees.

Sincerely,

Hi Cosmo, and Sara Marie...

I got an email from you folks yesterday (and I didn't see it until today) regarding my most recent order (I think that's #1339418... the one that I had trouble doing my gift certificate with) and it seemed to indicate the charge wouldn't go through... although I see the items shipped yesterday, so I gather all is well after all.

I'll call my bank tomorrow, just to make sure, and see what amount the bank card was charged... hoping the correct amount of $59.70

Thanks,

Dean (The_Minstrel_Wyrm)

Greetings.

Okay... everything looks like it went through okay. I was a little puzzled by the three "hits" that my bank told me about (which added up to the $59.70 amount) but other than that, it all looks good.

Thanks Vic, Sara Marie, Cosmo, and everyone at Pazio's wonderful Customer Service Team.

Dean
