Hey Vagrant! How about a map showing what YOU think the southern hemisphere looks like?
I for one would like to see your take on southern Garund. It's hard to believe Garundi or Keleshite explorers haven't mapped that region out by 4708.
Come on, show us what lies beyond the Field of Maidens! ;-)
Hmm. I could scribble a place, where khoisan and bantu-esque people, and some interesting wierdness exists, and I think there is a place further south where a civilisation worshipped Camatotz put collapsed to barbarism. And that Amazon nation.
But the Mwangi expanse covers alot of central African ideas and peoples, and we really don't know anything about southern Garund at all really. Which is strange as its as close as Garund, though likely less flourishing with civilisations, and so less intersting to explorers.
Some idea would be nice though, if anyone has any hints, or heard anything.
South hemisphere map would require me to know if there is a south Arcadia, and does it have a seperate name, or a wholly seperate south american continent. I'd also have to scribble where Sarusan is. Finally the south hemisphere is probably alot more ocean and less landmass. Unless theres another non analogous continent like Azlant floating around.
In otherwords, it'll be hard to do in a way that I'm happy with, so I might work away, but it'll take time.

Also, does anyone know what the name of the ocean between Tian Xia and Casmaron is?
Random thoughts...
1) Name the ocean yourself, and maybe it will stick. That's pretty much how real explorers did it.
2) In southern Garund, I'd really like to see some functioning, flourishing African-style empires, like what-if-Rome-had-been-in-Africa. The Nyambe setting and Kingdoms of Kalamar's Svimohzia: the Ancient Isle, are good examples of this.
3) If there is a non-Earth-analogous continent in the southern hemisphere, I'd love to see a hobgoblin empire continent that could potentially pose a threat to human lands someday.
BTW- vagrant-poet, incredible work.

I'm of mind to keep southern Garund mostly uncivilized--perhaps with a very few isloated settlements along the coast (founded by pirates, lost explorers, and madmen), and maybe a single Conan-esque city like Yanyoga at its far southernmost tip. (I'm waving to you, serpent folk!)
I'd keep the interior of southern Garund a verdant green wilderness, speckled with plenty of ancient ruins, degenerate tribes of cannibals, and some of most ferocious man-eating creatures to be found on Golarion. Perhaps in the utter south of the continent, I'd place vast regions of savannah....maybe a desert or two...and a single range of continuously smoking volcanic mountains.
Oh, and of course I would have to add that little Amazon nation somewhere. Amazons are cool.

Where can I get more information on Andoran's stronghold colonies in Arcadia? I don't understand how they can maintain those colonies with the perilous stretch of the Arcadian Ocean be dangerous to ships due to the sunken island of Azlant. I am running an Oceanic campaign that I intend to lead to PCs to exploring some of the Arcadian continent for a certain ancient Azlanti artifact in some forgotten Azlant outpost. I was going to have them have to rely on Valenhall if they want to resupply their ship, but with those Andoran strongholds there I am thinking they could also use them, unless, like the Sun Temple Colony, those colonies failed.

There is an Amazon civilization south of the currently-mapped Garund. That's where the Field of Maidens came from, after all. See volume 4 of the Pathfinder Chronicles for more information, or contact the long-departed spirit of Durvin Gest.

Both, James Jacobs has said that there will be arough map of all of the known continents!
