I'm putting this in the general discussion because I'm kind of curious to see if anyone else is interested in seeing a Pathfinder RPG update to the ooze whisperer/vermin heart abilities, i.e. abilities that allow for ooze and vermin companions.
Obviously, since Pathfinder uses "proprietary" stats for companion creatures, the companions would need to be broken down and rebuilt from the ground up for these purposes. After seeing the Genius Guide to the Dragonrider, however, it does look like it can be done with creatures other than animals in a satisfying manner.
So I guess I'm saying that I'm interested in these things getting updated, either by Paizo or a 3rd party that does it well, and I'm curious if anyone else is interested in the same.
