Super Genius Games is proud to announce the release of our first product of the new year ... the latest in our very popular series of Loot 4 Less products ... Hot Rods. As with the previous volumes in the series, this one features a collection of magical items, all of which are enchanted with permanent effects and yet are priced no higher than 2,500 gp (so they're affordable even at the lowest levels).
Hot Rods focuses, not surprisingly, rods ... the often forgotten item type that really should be the workhorse of magical items. They are amazingly versatile, don't take up a permanent magic item slot, are wielded like weapons, and don't require any special skill or ability in order to use. And they can look like just about ANYTHING.
You can get Loot 4 Less, vol. 3:Hot Rods right here: http://paizo.com/store/v5748btpy8by0

I've got this one in my current shopping cart. I have vol 1 & 2. As a matter of fact I created a replacement PC for one game I am in and gave her a Ring of Determination. I haven't used any of the armor's or weapon's yet but plan to. I appreciate your efforts to bring products that can help out an overtaxed GM/player.

Weeeellll....then put me down for a pre-order. I'm sure I'll get that before Razor Coast is released. ;)

Geh! This Loot series is like crack. Since I picked up the last one I've been checking up for news of a new one every couple of days. I hope you realize once you stop the line you'll have some fiends in withdrawal.
By the way, I loaded up my stand-by pimp NPC, Silky Pete, with a few of those rings.
Stop the line? I know what all those words mean, but they don't make any sense when you put them in that order. :D
Seriously, Loot 4 Less is a big hit for us, and I love writing them. I have notes for at least 12 more of these (okay, 13 if you include Crazy Kragnar's Used Charriots), and suspect by the time those are out I'll have notes for 12 more.

I absolutely LOVE this line... and part of me sincerely hopes you are not joking about Crazy Kragnar's Used Charriots. "Come on down to Crazy Kragnar's used charriots. With prices like these you dont need charm person, come on down!"
I am starting up a low level game, and these are just the thing I need to spice up loot in the encounters. I mean just think of the fun of distracting the paladin with a Rod of Screaming. And I know a rod of bolt throwing is in the near future for my party. "You walk into a room, 5 kobolds are standing their with crossbows poised. Except one isnt holding a crossbow, but is angrily waggling an odd stick in your directions".
I have one party member that may cry tears of joy when i give him the telescoping rod. He has never had a character that lacked an 11 foot pole, I cant wait to see how he likes a 25ft adjustable.

We may have been joking before, but now I actually have some rules for chariots sketched out, along with the first three entries. So, yeah, eventually you'll see it.
We're ALWAYS happy to take advantage of easy mone... ah... take our customer's feedback seriously.

Marks down another offhand joke comment I've made that seems on it's way to becoming a REAL product.
Hmmm ... two more and I get a set of steak knives!

Quuck question, are all this made with the PFRPG system or 3.5? (or are they neutral for that matter)
All the SGG Loot 4 Less books use the Pathfinder RPG rules, though in 90% of the cases they need no conversion to be used in 3.5. There are a -few- exceptions, and where the rules don't match we always go Pathfinder. Some upcoming Loot 4 Less books may have entries that are less 3.5 friendly, but that would just be based on where the rules diverge.

two things:
one, the telescoping rod is a must have for anyone braving Dragon's Delve...and for that matter, the rod of smashing doors would be pretty useful too. Great stuff, as usual! I love this product line.
second, it would have been nice to have included the PRD blurb on Extradimensional Spaces...
ok, there is a third thing, what is the rod of hidden light mentioned in the pricing guide?!?

thanks! although I've greatly enjoyed all the editions in this product line, I get a special thrill from this one - I agree that rods are under appreciated. Any true dungeon delver worth his salt will instantly see the value of these creative new treasures.
thanks again!

Having purchased all three volumes at once, I definitely have to say that this is my favorite. I am somewhat biased, as I am a fan of rods (immovable and rod of ropes being my favorites), but I think they're well-done and flavorful. I may have to make a character with a bandoleer of rods.
I'm really glad you are all enjoying this one!
Hmmm. A bandoleer of rods...

I just purchased Vol. 1, 2 and 3 plus the Spellcaster Feats. Loving it all so far.
My DM once told me of a Sorcerer he had in game who loved wands, so he had commissioned a Wand Bandoleer with the DM's help that basically functioned as a Handy Haversack for wands. Any wand could be drawn as a Free Action, I thought that was a pretty badass idea :)

I have seen a homebrew 'wandgun' that held 6 wands and as a swift action could be set to activate any of the 6. The user still needed to be able to use the wands either by UMD or by being the proper caster type. Was a fun item.

Dangit, Stan! Here I was hoping for a car. My Conjurer wants to trade in his Pinto for a Mustang. :P

And yes, there are rules for used chariots.
