Since I and my players really liked the idea of gaining bonuses while gathering allies in EoME - I made the bonus from Fountain of Beauty permanent for elves/half elves, becuase of the Half-Elf Bard, I gave them the opportunity to talk to Obox-Ob and he bestowed insectile template on one of them. For the Fighter/Wizard/Swiftblade who's a devotee of St. Cuthbert, I'll most probably give him God-blooded template, but for the life of me, I can't think of anything fitting for the party's wizard - Conjurer/Master Specialist/Archmage.
Do you know of any fitting template for a wizard? Or a similar boon?
This depends on the raw power level you are bestowing & whether or not you are running in 3.5 or PFPRG...

None of them are terribly optimized, so even with these permanent boots, ultimately it doesn't make that much of a difference, I just want to give them an option to obtain something that isn't gear/feat.
I'd like it to be more of a cool, fluffy template/ability/boon then to give them raw power. That's why I'm having trouble finding it, otherwise I could just slap them a static bonus on CL/damage/stat...

Hrmmmm... anything else on the 'flavor', personality, quirks or the like of the Archmage super summoner ?
Sadly, he's not that much of a role-player, so I can't really say... But, from what little of RP he's had I know that he's stubborn, quick to pick fights, intrigued by all manner of strange creatures (Obox-Ob for example), likes to blast as well as summon and that's pretty much it.
