One or two slots have opened up in a long-running game of mine. FR setting on a hunt for spellplague. They're currently level 7 and both their melee types have various work and computer related problems. This is the follow on from Scepter Tower of Spellgard and has been running for over a year with a highly varied group.
The present lineup consists of
Erik the human bard - TGZ101
Perigia the genasi firemage - Dave Fryer
Brujo the moonelf swordmage - Lazaro
Cale Noor, who was playing Snaggletooth the kobold rogue, but is about to evolve into Kestrel Horne the sorcerer.
They really need a fighter. Cale has said that he is happy to turn himself into a fighter if nobody else wants to play one, so there's some flexibility here.
Anyone interested?
Against my better judgement, I'm interested. Either a Half-Orc Fighter (Should be suitably sticky, and should up the damage output a bit) or a Longtooth Shifter Warden (Let's see, nearly unstoppable in most ways, good at keeping large amounts of enemies marked and next to him, but not that much damage.) Of course, since it's finals week now I probably won't be able to get the stats completely done for a bit assuming I don't act like a complete idiot and not study.

I really am full with this one, but if openings crop up in any of my games, I'll be happy to keep you both in mind.

Sounds good, just a few questions so
I can be ready if you need me:
1) any guides/rules for generating characters (point buy, roll, etc)
2) You're currently at lv 7, use expected wealth for lv 7 and buy
items/magic items? Or do you have another method?
3) Any other requirements?
If it's in character builder, you can use it. I sometimes ban warforged if they don't fit into the setting.
Starting level is always just she is writ in the book - i.e. level standard starting gold, mundane stuff for free, one each of a magic item of the level, one level below the level and one level above the level.
Stats and skills are 22 point buy and you can take a background with the associated skill boost. I'm flexible about those for the most part but if you wanted to use something that really doesn't fit with the campaign, I'd want you to run it past me first.
My only other real requirement is that you post an alias profile with all the figures in it - i.e. not just a cut and paste from CB.
I'm a ruthless mover on of games and will DMPC if you don't show up at a fight within 24 hours of your turn coming up. Other than that, I tend not to bite :)

I was thinking of a human Paladin of the Red Knight
multi classing with Fighter and aiming towards
Knight Protector for Paragon, always wanted to
try out that PP. I should be done creating my

One of the things I was curious about is that I was
thinking of making a background based in Damara, but
there doesn't seem to be an equivalent towards it in
CB, should I substitute something else instead?
Lastly how much back story, if any, should I create?
Hi - sorry not to respond sooner, but things got a little hectic. Substitute a background by all means. Back story is up to you. I'd keep it fluid, as the situation may change by the time you get a chance to play, but give yourself some character notes if you find it helps you.

While I've been waiting, I got a little antsy and due to an acute addiction to Character builder...I've created different character setups/backgrounds (sadly more for my own amusement) and will prob create more so I'll prob have a good range of characters to chose from to fill what roles might be needed...yea that's it...
