Gamestation: Precision Dice, buy singles?

Gamer Life General Discussion

I have been itching to replace my dice with some of the precision dice by Gamestation.

However, I'm always finding 7-piece sets. Does anyone know of a place where you can buy so many of a specific kind of dice that would match? For example I'd get a standard 7-set but I'd like about 10 more d6's and three or four more d4's. Maybe a few spare D8's as well.

I'd like to get my class sets in order because I'm tired of my multi-colored hodge-podge sets.

I've never found a good place to just buy single dice from a specific set. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be a happy rabbit. If they are the Gamestation ones it would be a plus!

Or bring down the hammer and let me know I am going to need to buy 10 sets to get what I want. Thanks!

Too late, I tied the knot a month ago. Thanks though.

Pretty sure those Amazon links refer to Gamescience Individuals. I think that Gamestation/Gamescience may be one in the same now, but I'm not 100% sure. The default store links on Gamescience's site refer to Gamestation.

Great store and excellent dice!!

Huh; never heard of Gamestation before this thread. I own a set of Gamescience dice; the clear ones that you paint yourself. Hands down, the best polyhedral dice you can own.

I bought them as singles (3d4, 4d6, 3d8, 2d10, 1d12, 1d20) and the whole thing came out to less than $30.

I had to ask since I had been looking for awhile for individual ones. I heard some really great things about them as precision dice. And honestly after a few years I have never, ever critted, perhaps it was the dice all along?

Indeed! If your die's distorted against rolling on the 1-20 axis, you'll find that you roll 20's far less often. Precision dice don't have this distortion, and as such grant equal access to all numbers on the die.

I wish I knew about these years ago, but these suckers are ordered and I am beyond giddy! :D

Our distributor used to carry the weird Precision Edge dice (d3, d5, d14, d16, d24), but they stopped selling them a while back. We've still got a couple left in the warehouse, though:

I should also mention if you're looking for sets rather than singles, we have the 7-die sets in translucent and opaque, and the 12-die sets in translucent, each in multiple colors.

GameScience is now a brand owned by GameStation (and not all GameStation dice are GameScience dice).

That's up to our distributor—although, come to think of it, I'm not sure they even sell inked dice into distribution. They hand-ink the ones they sell on their website, so they may not have the capacity to provide them for retail sales.

Just got mine! They are really nice. I can't wait to start sanding and inking these little suckers.

Thank you again to the person who gave me the amazon link. Got myself a set and 9 individuals of d4's, d6's and d'8. They are in blue moonstone and just gorgeous. Can't wait to try them out Saturday.

Let us know how that goes. I've got another set en route and would appreciate any tips/ideas. Was thinking of using mini paint for the inking (saw a note in a review somewhere), but am not sure yet.

Sand and ink? Why would you do something so horrible to those precious gems?! I say let 'em roll natural, if you'll forgive the pun.
