A couple of questions:
1. Found a bunch of SmiloDan's conversions here, but can't seem to find his base class conversion. Link? Or are we just using PRPG base classes? How about the four classes currently being play tested?
2. What level is the current party at? Are we using the Gestalt guide from D20SRD here
3. The discussion thread is very long and will take me some time to get through (same with the actual pbp). To quickly get me into the game, any summary would be appreciated. Or maybe you can introduce my character as a new guy and he can just go from there.

1. Base classes are all classes that have 20 levels. So warlock is base class, and so is witch and summoner. Classes in core rules are core classes. So, you can chose from all dnd classes in existence, including 4 new ones that are being play tested.
2. Party is at first level, but all characters are created with + 4 level adjustment. So we have a pixie in the party, for example. Those who do not want to play characters with templates or races with LA can choose to take four levels of NPC class instead. You can use gestalt rules from d20srd.
3. The game is being played in a city called Kaledun. In short, the children are missing and authorities are turning blind eye to the disappearances. Your character (and all the other new ones) will be introduced as travelers from another world or time, so you don't need any prior knowledge of the town or the game so far.
| Herc |
Here's Herc, the half-earth elemental half-orc fighter/palain. You can find his rolls here.
Ability Scores
STR = 16 + 4(TEMPLATE) = 20
DEX = 13 - 2(TEMPLATE) = 11
CON = 15 + 4(TEMPLATE) = 19
INT = 8 = 8
WIS = 9 + 2(RACIAL) = 11
CHA = 16 = 16
The fighter/ranger idea simply didn't work out cause I envisioned a two-handed weapon user, which means the ranger's combat style feats would have been a complete waste. Going down the paladin's path, Herc's melee ability would eventually be bolstered by Divine Bond, which imo kicks major ass. Thoughts?
I believe half-earth elementals have a LA of +3. Is everything I am doing so far right? (never used templates before)
