Base Class Conversion Clarification

Just some quick questions regarding converting some of the classes from books other than the PHB -- probably discussed elsewhere already.

Regarding rules bullet #2: 20th level:
Is it possible to replace the phrase "something cool" with something a little more meaningful? For example, "something that mimics an ability roughly equivelent to a 7th or 8th level spell" -- I was quickly looking at Mighty Rage and Deadly Peformance as reference. And perhaps an exception to full casters (with a number of 9th level spells already -- I was looking at Wizards and Clerics who get nothing "cool" at 20th.

Regarding rules bullet #5 & 6: Add Abilities and Compare Finished Class:
(This one is more important) Is it possible to get a rough or general list of abilities/feats/spell levels correlated with class levels based on a classe's "role"?

For example:
Full combat progression roles=
1st & 2nd level equivalent SP abilities no sooner than 5th level, suggested 1 per day (looking at Ranger and Paladin)

3rd level equivalent SP abilities no sooner than 11th level, suggested 1 per day -- this also helps merge with Bullet Rule #3: Encourage Staying in 1 Class because maybe every four levels the class can get 3 per day instead of 1

Should not get higher than 3rd level except at very high levels, perhaps 15th.

Or,
Slow combat progression=
1st - 3rd level equivalent SP abilities no sooner than 8th level (looking at the Rogue)

etc., etc.

You could point out things such as a full combat progression can only get evasion at a higher level (Ranger) where a slow combat progression can get it at an earlier level (Rogue).

What equivalent level, though, is evasion??? Or Uncanny Dodge?

This kind of advice, especially if it eventually comes as a free pdf conversion guide, will really help. Obviously, it won't be perfect and every group must decide what is best for them.

Ultimately, this is crucial for DMs. Players can always go to their DMs for help and accept that as authority for the Homebrew. But a DM, trying to be as fair as possible, could really use a little extra help.
