Looks like it's cheaper to ship in two separate packages actually. We currently are estimating that the book weighs 2 lbs, and two books plus the box weight puts it over the limit of what we can send via standard postal delivery. To put both copies in a single package means shipping via Priority Mail instead, and that would cost $40.88 instead of $26.80.

Note to any Americans looking in: Gary's just talking about international shipments—the 4-pound weight limit for standard shipping only applies internationally; domestic orders are probably cheaper as a single package.

The logic of international shipping eludes me... heavier parcels should be delivered faster? I'll place may order. Thanks for the info.
