I know Wave can be a bit jarring. This page really helped me when I first got going:
http://www.completewaveguide.com/
Google Wave, I think, will out shine pbp or chat for so many reasons. First of which is the ability to edit blips. A group can keep the fiction as a coherent story and the number work modular from that, so when a player goes in to describe their actions, they have a much more flexible medium to work with.
Something like this:

And then apps are always nice.

Ah I went to put up a post but it got eaten while they are updating the site.
I would like to toss my hat into the ring for this, I'd be very interested to see just how well things work out with google wave. If you want me in, my wave is felixcosima at googlewave dot com
I'm normally on pretty constantly during weekdays during the day, pacific time and can check in a few times each day over the weekends, so I will probably be able to keep up with even the most prolific posters.
Do you have any information on what our characters will be looking like? Level, point buy, starting gold, ect, so I can start trying to formulate an idea of what I want to be making?

As of now the game is full, but a few people have pinged me since the game filled up, asking to get in on the game. If you would like to start a new game, I can link all the people who came too late for my game up, but would not be able to run another game. It would be cool to see a little Pathfinder Wave community get going.

I was shifting through those blips, and am so happy to see all the indie games being played.
