Colorado, Colorado Springs PFRPG

I'm curious who around Colorado Springs is Playing PFRPG.

We have an adult game on alternating Saturdays with six of more folks on a regular basis.

Opposite Saturdays I had been running a game for the kids, but they seem to be loosing interest.

We are looking at a Sunday game (alternating), but we don't seem to have enough reliable players at this point.

Oddly we could end up with any where from 2-7 players interested in the Sunday adult game.

Most of our group has moved on and I haven't played in quite a while. I would love to get in with a group again. Probably wouldn't be able to get together until after the crazy Christmas season, but I'd be interested in joining a group.

Cool!

We have 3 groups at the moment. Do you have kids that play? One of our alternating Saturday groups is half kids. (levels 5-6 Forgotten Realms; I'm GM)

On opposite Saturdays we have an adult group in the evening, but it's fairly full. (level 5 Forgotten Realms, I GM)

We are starting another adult group on Sundays at 2:00 PM. We may do alternating Sundays. I'm not running so I'd need to talk to the GM. (levels 10-11 FR) I suspect we will desperately need a cleric and/or wizard, but I only know what three of the players are going to be at this point. (2 barbarians and my ranger/rogue)

Does anyone else in the Springs play or run?

BT and Moff--Are you guys CS permanent residents? I may be stationed there beginning this June.

I've been here since I was stationed at Ft Carson in '87. I love it here, but the job market is a wasteland.

Can you say where you might be stationed?

You're welcome to use the contact info above too.

I'm going to be in College Station TX for a couple of weeks, so I may be quite slow in responding.

Thanks! I'll know exactly where this March, but probably Peterson AFB come June.

Cool! I think this is an excellent place to be stationed!

I'm a permanent residence. (At least been here for the past 20 years. Is that permanent?)

I'm on vacation right now, but I'd love to meet you assuming you get here.

spoiler:
You (and Bitter Thorn) can contact me at moffrimmer (at) pcibroadband.com

Anyone else in the Springs?

It looks like we are going to be doing alternate Saturdays. This one is the adults 5th level game. Next Saturday should be Brads 10/11th level game.

I'll be heading to the Springs this June as well. Stationed at Schriever but living in the city. I've been running a PFRPG group here in Japan since BETA and would love to get into a group over there once I get settled.

Very cool. My contact e-mail is up thread, and I'll be happy to field any non gaming questions about the area if I can.

FYI, I may be at Ft Benning early in June for my son-in-laws graduation from USUT.

hail and well met!

I should be returning from the Stan, back to Carson/Colo. Springs, May, on block leave June, but after that I'm absolutely looking for RP contacts in the area. I know a few already who might be down for gaming when we get back, but you never know. Can't have too many gaming friends.

I bought the PF books but haven't actually gamed the setting yet, and i mean to get my money's worth.

I like to play mages or clerics typically. The summoner piques my interest too though.

Are you thinking of running a game or joining a group?

My e-mail is up thread. You're welcome to use it or this thread, whatever works while you're deployed.

Stay safe!

Currently there is a lower level (5/6) game set in FR on alternating Saturdays that's going strong.

However the GM for the game on opposite Saturdays will be going to Afghanistan soon. That leaves every other Saturday open when that happens. I'd love a chance to actually play rather than DM, but I'm adaptable.

Planning on running Legacy of Fire this summer in COS. Woot!

How are you set for players?

I'd be more than happy to run a game every other Sat after I get settled. Unfortunetly that wont be until Sept after I get back from training. Maybe either Kingmaker or Serpent's Skull... Depends what I'm feeling at the time.

Still waiting to hear back from a few folks. If they fall through, I'll be returning here for a recruitment drive!

How goes your LoF game?

Hey there! We've just started playing Pathfinder, though we also play a few other things (D&D 4E and (New) World of Darkness). We generally get together on Friday and Sunday nights in southern Colorado Springs (just outside of Fort Carson).

Good to see more PFRPG players in the Springs. How big is your group?

Pathfinder is a family affair for us at the moment with Mom GMing and me and the four kids playing. That's Saturday during the day.

Friday group (D&D 4E right now) consists of three rotating DMs (me, my wife, and a friend) and three kids (our two oldest plus the friend's son).

Sunday group (New World of Darkness right now) consists of me, my wife, the same friend from Friday nights and another friend.

If Friday or Sunday switches to Pathfinder, I'll post here to see if anyone's interested in joining. :D

Well, if someone is looking for a player or two I'd love to do more than just GM my own game.

Not till the end of September. Probably not going to be able to start a group for a couple weeks after that. Have to spend some time with the family after being away for three months.

Shadow Lodge

Not quite Colorado Springs, but some friends are setting up a game at Enchanted Grounds in Highlands Ranch 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month. If that would be of interest let us know and I'll get you in touch with the GM. We are all in our 20-30's and fairly mature and interested in an adult game.

All the Best,

Kerney
