Bring on the Cenobites!

Nah, just trying to illustrae the silliness that has infected the board lately.

RPG Superstar 2012

The class must have full BAB. Otherwise, what's the point?

Edit: And laser beams from the eyes.

Dark Archive

And full casting and psionics.

David Fryer wrote:

Arcane or Divine...Nah both.

Don't forget full unarmed damage bonus progression and full maneuver progression.

Shouldn't flight be included as well?

Meh....I think they should start at +2 bab at first level, working up to a +25 bab at 20th level.

And burrow, obviously.

OK. I was wrong about full BAB progression. The class should have 3/2 BAB (rounded up).

It should also be able to have the full spell progressions, combined, of all the core spellcasting classes. I'm excluding base and prestige classes, because that would just be insane.

And laser beams!

Liberty's Edge

I'm saying Paizo needs to get going with the epic book. The zerth needs epic spells at 10th level.

I think it needs DR20/Epic just to be safe.

Liberty's Edge

I think he should heal damage by flurry of blowsing himself in the forehead.

This is so childish...

Two bonus feats every level.
And Fusion Warpedos...

Come on guys, you've missed out the most obviously important class ability. From first level, At will, ranged touch attacks with save or die effects, DC = 10+class level+highest attribute.

Else, what is the point?

Pfft. Lame. Only stupid clerics need to make a touch attack AND grant a save. The zerth has a choice - either make the ranged touch attack with a bonus equal to an ability modifier of their choice, or the save, but not both.

Liberty's Edge

I think he should be limited to a Chaotic Neutral alignment. That way you don't have to muck around with that whole morality. It always gets in the way of serious butt kicking.

How about blades embedded in the hands that can be retracted at will?

Oh, and the ability to create wands out of thin air.

It should also include flavor text that explains the world in which the character lives is not real, but a digital creation designed to keep the various races enslaved to some ultimate AI. The zerth characters are the only ones who know and they can defy reality because none of it is truly real. I mean, this class does have to be grounded in the world and all.

Oh and they should be able to teleport....with a Bamf sound.

Wait!
They can ignore any encumberance rules.
A rolled 1 on a save or to hit isn't an automatic fail. Or is that too much?

There is no such thing as too much.

When the time has come for the zerth class, then you will *know*.

Pffft. Zerth.

Everone knows that Githyanki are so much kewler than Githzerai. We invented frikken laser beams from the eyes.

Wait he needs an animal companion ..a dragon yeah a dragon, aslo the class needs to be immune to mind effecting stuff...yeah and...a chain gun it needs exotic weapon proficiency chain gun and katana

The Exchange

*sigh*

Liberty's Edge

I would like to point out I was the first to call for the Zerth. But they should have double BAB, and cast from the Arduin Grimoire spell list.

Also, they should have Armor Proficiency: M1A2 Abrams, and be allowed a repeating blade firing silver sword at first level. .50 cal. That overcomes all DR. Furthermore, they should get spell penetration and improved spell penetration as bonus feats.

I still think with all that, they'll be underpowered compared to the wizard or the Pathfinder paladin, though.

What are you even doing here? Paugh.....Aggies fans stand through the whole game, and you're here posting.

I'm not an Aggie. Texas fans who aren't at the game sit on the sofa, drinking Shiner Bock, watching the game and posting on Paizo.

Damn, Aggies got another one.

Don't go ascribing my beer consumption this evening to that flea ridden Gator fan!

I think you're going a little overboard - we need good roleplaying abilities on the class as well, like the Lightning Warrior class. So let me be the first to add a roleplay-related class feature:

d20 hit dice

Class features
+1, nay +2 Natural Armor/Level
and +1 Enhancement Bonus to AC/level

Ignore 10ft of movement impairment when wearing heavy armor

Strength is used to determine spell DCs and bonus Spells per day
Strength and Level are also added to all Saves as an enhancement bonus

LMAO
Just found this bit of information on Wikipedia...

The hero [...] is a 12-pound ball of tar named Gish. He is lacking of any external organs except yellow glowing eyes and fanged teeth. His gelatinous nature gives him the ability to become sticky, slippery or heavy and expanded at will, among other capabilities.
[...] When sticky, he can climb up walls, stick to ceilings, and plant himself firmly to a solid object. Becoming slick makes Gish slippery and frictionless, letting him slide down pipes and squeeze out of being crushed. Using heavy turns Gish's body into a rigid weight, allowing him to fall faster, squash enemies, smash breakable platforms, sink in water, and resist being crushed. To jump, Gish must first compress his body, then expand to launch himself into the air.

The abilities can be combined for use in certain situations[...].

Leap tall buildings, faster than a speeding bullet, wears underpants on the outside of his strides...

They should have a class feature Crimson Tide Fan. After next week, wveryone will be asking "Tim who?"

If you listen to Urban Meyer, he'd tell you that Timmy > Zerth + Gish.

Heck, Timmy > Chuck Norris.

Blasphemy. I know.

Dark Archive

Urban who?

Spoiler:
Still haven't forgiven him for ditching a chapionship deserving team for a team that, simply because of it's conference, can actually win a championship.

Spoiler:

It's all about the benjamins. Utah can't touch Florida's financial power. The same would have been said that Bowling Green couldn't touch Utah's; etc.

Urban originated from out here in Ohio. If Notre Dame can't get him, I wonder if they're going to cough up the dough and try to get another Ohio prospect - Brian Kelly. Done wonders for Cincy past couple of years.

One day, Mr Norris drove me to the park and let me play with his dog.

On the way home, he got me a frozen yogurt!

Is this where I come to whine about the imperative need for Scro as a playable race?

Dragonstar, right? Or was it Spelljammer? I'm drawing blanks...

Speaking of, I also kind of liked the Gith from Spelljammer.

Spelljammer. I love the Scro, save for their ridiculous name.

Also, this new class needs Fast Healing >9000.

Ah Scro, orcs spelled backward. LE very well trained and skilled loved em

They have to launch a satellite into orbit from China every time Tim Tebow throws ten passes to correct the earth's orbit.
He's an Oracle of Football. His only flaw is he doesn't feel pain.
Tebow has a CMB of +57. He has more rushing touchdowns than Iuz and Mordenkainen combined.

I thought they needed to launch those satellites to get a GPS read on how errant Tebow's passes were. The last time he caught a receiver in stride was about the last time he reached home plate with a woman.

Wait, that would be never...

;)

And Tony Romo tagging Jessica Simpson was such a good thing(?)
