Blindness question in RotR

Rise of the Runelords

I was wondering if anyone knew of the top of their head if anyone in Sandpoint in Rise of the Runelords can remove magical blindness? Do any of the NPC's have the spell available or even some other means if that exists? Tx

The new cathedral, like its previous incarnation, has six chapels but the module only gives information on one cleric there, Father Zantus. He wouldn't have access to the necessary 3rd level spell unless his temple had something like a scroll provided by a higher level cleric; any of the other five senior clerics might be higher level than him, though.

For my game I decided that Zantus was more or less the site administrator for the cathedral in addition to performing his basic clerical duties, and the highest level cleric of his particular faith in town but rolled 1d4+2 to see what the highest level clerics for the othe five represented faiths were. Fortunately for the suffering PCs, a couple of them had access to Remove Disease. :)

I ran into the same problem, so I just made Zantus Clr 5. Damon's solution is kinda neat, but I'd rather not have to deal with forcing the players to Magnimar too soon (which might happen if you roll poorly on that d4!).

Windsong Abbey is chock full of clerics and it's as close to Sandpoint as Magnimar is.

Father Zantus is the only cleric there (plus the guy who takes care of the graves). It states somewhere in the first book (near the start I think) that he ministers to those of all the faiths represented in the Cathedral.

Nothing stopping you from adding people, though.

There is another cleric in town, Hannah the elven midwife. But she's lower level (as a cleric anyway) than Zantus.

Windsong Abbey stays on my miiiiind.....

Thank you all very much for you input, that definitely helps.

In the Sandpoint game I'm running here at the office, Father Zantus is still 4th level... but he has an indeterminate number of scrolls of things like remove disease and remove blindness that the PCs can buy from him (or actually, now that they're heroes, they can just have him cast the spells on them for free).

The point is... Sandpoint's gp limit/base value is high enough that even if there's no one high enough level to cast the spell, you can probably buy a potion or scroll.
