How populous and / or well known are Dinosaurs in Golarion?

I know Orv is crawling with them, and there are Lost Valleys here and there in the north where volcanic vents and springs pull a lost world... but to what degree is the world aware of dinosaurs?

Are they like sasquatch and the loch ness monster, scoffed at by many, deeply believed in by a few, and searched for by many, or just exotic animals like the giraffe and the elephant? Do sages and more scholarly druids engage in long treitises about mysterious survivals? Do they even know dinosaurs used to be the big thing?

Am I missing any Golarion dinosaur habitats? How crazy is it to have a stegosaurus animal companion in most parts of the world (like Adventure Path territory?)

The world is very aware of dinosaurs. They're pretty common on Garund in spots (particularly in and around the Mwangi Expanse), and are basically thought of as exotic animals. It's more likely that someone would scoff at the existence of the drow than they would at the existence of dinosaurs.

That's just an elf you've painted black. You could have at least done something creative like sew a duckbill on it.

Yeah! Duckbills make everything awesomer! In fact, I hear that for 5e, they plan to add duckbills to every monster!

"Praithe Cyth-V'thug, Printhe of the Blathted Heath"
"Cys-Vsug? Prince of the Blasted Hease?"
"NO, BLATHFEMER! YOU THALL BE PUNITHED!"
"Why don't you say "thou shall be punished?"
"I WILL TORTHURE YOU TO DEATH"
"To des? HAHAHAHA"
