Request for help

My family and I recently (as in arrived on Wednesday night, Oct 28th) moved to the Seattle area of Washington state and my mother is experiencing great difficulty finding a place to live. She doesn't have a job yet because she needs an address for people to hire her, but she can't get a place to live because the property management companies here require more income than her military retirement pays. She will be getting at least one job, I know her.

We've spent every day since arriving in town job/house hunting and keep getting shut down.

We've been checking Craigslist.com as well as various other sites.

Any and all help is welcome.

the well wishing is appreciated, but still doesn't solve the problem.

any Seattle area locals have any advice on how to get A to get B to get C? Keep in mind, to get A you need C first....
