First off, welcome to Iowa and welcome to the Paizo boards. If you're interested in playing Pathfinder Society, there are two dedicated groups I know of in Iowa. One in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area that hosts events at Critical Hit Games. And one in the Des Moines area although I'm not certain of there usual venue. Members of both areas can be reached through the google group "Fellowship of the Blade". You should probably also check out meetup.com as well for people in your immediate area. I hope you enjoy Iowa and have alot of fun playing Pathfinder.

Problem I'm finding is that meetup.com doesn't have anything in my direct area..maybe I should check AMES, or somewhere like that..

Hmm, you are a bit off the beaten path for the two areas I mentioned. It was rather late last night when I posted and I wasn't quite sure where Mason City was in relation.
I know both areas tend to do monthly game days so if you don't mind a bit of a drive once a month then Des Moines probably wouldn't be too bad, it's a mostly straight shot south of you.
Also as a heads up you might check out "Fields of Honor", it's a local Con in Des Moines. I believe they're having a spring convention this year in April.
Theres also the Iowa Pathfinder Network and the link for the Fellowship of the Blade.
Hope this info helps in your search for a regular game.

Err, no. That one just takes some time for the mod to notice that he should be admitting someone. It took a while when I joined as well.
First welcome to Iowa. if you contact Mayhem Comics in Ames, they might be able to help you. They have two locations on in Ames and one in the West Des Moines/Clive area.

At this point I was in a group, but it seems to be falling apart (Gm got a better job, and is a nice person, so I'm genuinely happy for him, but a little sad too) Gonna run a Shadowrun game for them, as a one last hurrah, and go from there.
Anyone else looking for a player/Gm? (I might be moving to Ames soon myself, if there are any games down there)
