I have become a huge fan of everything Pathfinder, however my location makes it hard for me to get the hard cpies of books as they come out.
So I was wondering if it was possible to get a subscription for your products that only included the PDF versions of them. Basicaly I wanna be able to get them as soon as they come out.
This was discussed at length before. Long story short -- they're worried that if they offer a PDF-only subscription, then people will abandon the hard-copy subscription and then printing hard copies will no longer be economically feasible.
I'm probably garbling it a bit, but I think that's the gist.
i dont know how neccessary it would be though, I mean, if you want the pdf, you have to check the site even if you're subscribed, and its automatically moved to your downloads. If you simply have to purchase it when you check the site for the new pdf, that costs you what? 5 minutes? Its not really needed.

Subscribers tend to get PDFs slightly early; the PDFs are made available once the (hard-copy) order ships. Not to mention that some folks might expect a price savings if a PDF subscription were made available.
