Firefoot familiar

Hello. My wife's sorcerer has saved and befriended the trapped firefoot fox from Hallow's Last Hope, and she is interested in making it her familiar. I am looking for suggestions for the bonus that a fox familiar would grant. I briefly considered a bonus to escape artist checks, but would rather give her something a bit more useful. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm.. Foxes are considered sly. Maybe bonus to Bluff checks?

Dragon Issue #280, page 60, had something on fox familiars - they give a +2 bonus to reflex saves.

Of course, bluff (as suggested above) makes sense, or I could see a fox familiar giving a bonus to move silently checks too.

There is a fox familiar in the Legacy of Fire player's guide. I think there was also one in the Rise of the Runelord's player's guide too, but I'm too lazy to double check right now.

I think the LoF PG had them giving a bonus to stealth.

In case you look and get confused due to the fact the word "fox" isn't there, the word you want is "fennec".

The Legacy of Fire Players Guide has the brushtail fennecs give +3 to Stealth checks.

I didn't see any in Rise of the Runelords.

I'd go with that for the firefoot fennec as well.

iirc the Legacy of Fire player's guide is a free download on this site, so not a huge thing to get it.

I just downloaded the LoF player's guide, and it shows the fennec as giving +3 to search checks, which is even better. I think my wife will be happy with that. Thanks for the help.

Gah, I meant to say Search and typed Stealth, my bad! Brain was stuck on stealth for some reason...

I know this is an old post, but my daughter wanted to do something similar when her Halfling Druid rescued the poor creature in Hollow's Last Hope as well.

Here's what I found:

Ultimate Magic has the stats for a Fox in the New Familiars Section of Chapter 2.

The d20pfsrd has a complete stat block put together for the Firefoot Fennec by a third party, overfiend_87.

Also, SunshineGrrrl posted a stat block for a Firefoot Fennec in the Prerelease Archives.
