My laptop which is on vista keeps suffering blue screen error. Would anyone know how to fix this problem?

Get a Mac.

That said I'm not an expert with windows but it might be caused by a bug in the OS.

Try restoring to your laptop to the original restore point, or use your restore disk if you made one.
Make sure you have all the current updates. Do this manually, you may have to restart your laptop several times.
If none of the above helps you may have to reinstall Windows and start over from scratch.

Without knowing any further information, no...Blue screens are usually the cause of an OS issue or a hardware issue with the OS responds to by giving you an error. Next time this happens, write down the error code that you're given on the blue screen and share it.

Being a long time "computer gamer" I agree with Lilith...

If your bluescreen problem is occurring during some sort of GAME, specifically a 3D one, I would say it's over heating. Too much heat in an itty bitty space = video card nap time, usually a bluescreen event from my experience.

If you're a "computer gamer" or have decided to try, ignore Xabulba's 'Get a Mac' suggestion, LOL! Jokes aside, Mac's just don't have the variety in games that PCs do, but as our NEW BestBuy would point out... computer games as a whole seem to be dying off. (Brand new store and they don't have ANY in stock.)

That has been my experience as well - blue screens I have encountered were either graphics card issues and/or power requirement issues.

Can you give us the info that comes up on the screen? It will generally refer to some file names that might be helpful in sorting out what's what. As others have noted, what you are doing at the time is an important bit of info as well. Also, have you recently loaded anything onto the computer?

As an aside to this, overheating can cause all sorts of issues. Check the exhaust port on your laptop, if it's caked in dust, get a can of compressed air and clean it out! If you live in a dusty area, try to clean it at least once a week.

I experience a laptop blue screen problem once - right before the HD ate itself and the laptop went phutt!. It was a power problem.

If you haven't already (and the OS will let you), backup anything you consider valuable immediately. Seriously, blank DVDs and USB thumbdrives are dirt cheap.

Also be aware that many manufacturers "tech support" drones have a habit of making you try a couple things, then reformating/reimaging the drive. So make your backups now.

Edit: Check your manufacturer's support website for software updates, especially video and BIOS updates.
