This ended my hopes of a fourth Punisher movie.
What the three seperate re-tellings not good enough for ya? :P
I thought there were only 2?

First movie: 'The Punisher' (Dolph Lundgren, New World Pictures, 1989)

Second Movie: 'The Punisher' (Thomas Jane, Artisan Entertainment/Marvel Enterprises, 2004)

Third movie: 'Punisher: War Zone' (Ray Stevenson, Lionsgate/Marvel Knights, 2008)

The best 'Punisher' flick IMO.

Considering the Prequel Trilogy it would be an improvment to the franchise.

Remember, some people actually like the prequil trilogy.

Spoiler:
No, I don't get that either.

In the grand tradition of comic book team-ups we can look forward to the pairing of two uncontrolable berserkers...

Spoiler:
Donald Duck and Wolverine!

That's sort of like being the smartest of the Three Stooges.

Yes but no one really liked Shemp.

also remember that DC is owned by AOL/Time/Warner, So Bugs Bunny has always owned Batman, or at least for the last 30 years or more.

I thought that Bruce Wayne sued to keep those videos off the internet?

The Exchange

Ted Turner.

Nah Ted only owns the Warner Bros, RKO,MGM and UA film libraries(which pretty much means every movie ever made before 1986 except Disney/Universal ones)....he has no interest in AOL/Time/Warner any more having stepped down as Vice Chairman in 2006

Oh and as of the 9th of this Month it was back to Time-Warner..AOL is a seperate company again

hehe the muppet bomber who is always blowing things up; he can be the Punisher.

hehe the Swedish Chef can be Volstagg
hehe the pig that is always the capt or doctor or leading guy can be Thor

Miss Piggy can be She Hulk

hehe the mupppet kid whose uncle or dad owns the muppet theater and who is always giving Kermit "hot ideas" he can be tony stark; as he is pretty nerdy.

But seriously; man; Marvel should not have gone publish; I cant imagine who is Gods Green Earth thought this was a good idea. They have got to have some autonomy; i wonder if this was just for making more movies; and being a disney club member; are my comics gonna be any cheaper? hehe yes; my credit card has mouseears.

Exactly Ted has all those old vids so he would be the one to put it in the interwebz

I hear ol' Ted is gonna leak Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne's torid drunken escapade tape next month.... poor She Hulk and Power Girl, they just sat there waiting for the boys to play with them.

I like the prequel trilogy, as long as my brain doesn't connect it with those films from nearly 30 years ago.

the problem with the prequel trilogy is...todays kids dont get the big reveal in 'Empire'

"Yes Luke I am your Father" just doesn't have the same impact when you have spent 3 movies watching the rise and fall off Anakin Skywalker

Or it could be better special effects and worse scripts. That may however just be me.

That, and the number of Jedi. In the OT they seemed special, mystical, and only slightly more powerful than a standard person. In the PT they suddenly seemed "high level"... I mean that too! They're just too over the top, and their humanity (and thus believability and connectability) get lost.
