Scarab Sages

Hey...

I'm new to Pathfinder, but not new to gaming - but getting back into it after about 15 years out. Would love to get into some existing Society gaming here - or I'd be willing to start a home game...

Let me know if anyone's around.

We have a weekly game in NYC it a bit far but along the Metro North line.

Some of my players also set up games on the weekend. If you join our board maybe you could join up with them

Additionally you might want to solicit game through the New England Pathfinder Yahoo Group

Good luck

Also welcome to the boards. Lilith will be by later with cookies.

On average I deal with about 16 people in the CT area with a few from NY and RI. I almost wish i had the time and money to open a decent store in my immediate area. Just to have space to play in.

CT good use a good gaming store, most are pretty terrible and the one or two good ones closed.

Yeah, I just moved out of CT. The only store I could say has a decent gaming selection is Cave Comics in Newtown; their game room (vestibule) is pretty well taken over by Warhammer, though. At least, when I was there.

Never been there though I've driven by it a bunch of times. It looks tiny.

I've been in there once, but it was a Wednesday morning, so new comics were being sorted in the game room... it was pretty well organized, and had a decent variety of products though.

It's small, but every surface that can be packed with stuff is packed with stuff. They're mostly comics and back issues, but they have a good selection of stuff for a comic store. I haven't seen a ton of Paizo books there, but 4th ed, World of Darkness, Call of Cthulu, Hero and other books are pretty well represented. At least, last time I was there.

Yeah, the only issue I had was the way the 3.5 books were stacked (it was like a wooden version of a longbox for comics, but 3 feet high, on end, so you could only see the spines) made buying a book from the bottom of the pile dangerous, risking the entire pile falling on you.

I live close by to it (Bethel) and stop by on occassion but they never have anything for Pathfinder...so I order from here or amazon instead.

I'll see some of you on the 19th and Death Boys.

Yeah, next time definitely.

I'm in the state in Canton. Already committed to a full (for me) gaming schedule, but if anyone schedules any conventions or anything, please post. I'd be interested!

(Bristol CT used to be famous for the New Departure GM plant. That went out around the time ESPN came in. Have you been on the tour? Really cool facility in there.)

I got the email and replied. Welcome to the Fold!

So reviving the thread even more I will put this out now: I am slowly expanding my player base for PFS and even going as far as getting another site to run two separate days. So if you're in the CT area and you want more PFS please contact me, my email is in my profile.

Thanks,
Will "deathboy" Wadhams

I'm in Tolland county right near the Mass border. I'm new to Pathfinder but not new to gaming. Been trying to get a regular group of friends together to play 4e but only got 2 committed. I've been reading up on Pathfinder and liking what I see. I'm looking to find a group to maybe play sometimes as my friends have no interest in investing in another game and/or starting a new one. So I'm solo on this heh.

deathboy, you're gonna have another email incoming :)
