No experience necessary since knowledge of the actual rules is treason.
I will provide character templates. You provide the name
Peeking at Spoilers will result in IMMEDIATE clone execution...I figured out that people were peeking in the last game as a player, as "The Computer" I will consider that a V1V treasonous act.
I'm planning on running it in Classic mode. If there's enough interest in a ZAP game, I might run a quick ZAP game as well...

I love Paranoia(in theory, I've tried to talk my group into it a few times and they never showed much interest) and would certainly enjoy a game, though as you mentioned, I'm not particularly experienced in it since its been a few years since I looked through the book. Saved from treason by a poor memory!
Playing online is actually a pretty good way to do Paranoia I think, allowing for notes and the like to be done quietly. This could be lots of fun if there is enough interest for it to take off.

Oh it's a blast, PhD ran a nice long game, the spoilers definitely add a geat depth to the game.
| Alpha Complex Computer |
Where are my troubleshooters? The complex is being over run by communists!!! I need my trouble shooters in PZO sector. There's an emergency!
Open call to INFRAREDS to step up for a dangerous mission, you might die in service to the computer, this would make me happy...Death in service to the computer would make you happy. Happiness is mandatory, step forward my INFRAREDS, step forward and be promoted to a RED troubleshooter.

great Xyro, please check out the link above that I posted, it will give you an idea of what you'll be facing...
In a nutshell; PARANOIA is a dystopic reality, where you play one of the computers elite troubleshooters, troubleshooters are usually those who have performed some loyal activity, such as turning in a fellow INFRARED for some treasonous activity.
The Alpha Complex is typically a sealed environment.
The computer runs the complex with the help of it's citizens.
INFRAREDS form the majority of the citizens of Alpha Complex. (They wear blacks and grey colors.)
The colored clearances ROY G BIV
RED-Yellow are the low-end of those trusted by the computer
Green are the middlemen, and the Vulture Squads.
Blue-Violet are upper level citizens.
Ultraviolets are the High Programmers, they are above reproach, the most trusted of the computers citizens.
Note:
Mutations are treasonous!! You are a Mutant!
Secret Societies are treasonous. You belong to a Secret Society.
Happiness is mandatory! Are you happy citizen?
EDIT!: Note, unlike some games, this game is NOT about cooperation, this game is more about survival and back-stabbing...everyone IS out to get you in this game, so you have to either get them first, or collect evidence and blackmail them, get them before THEY get YOU!
Also, it's only a game, enjoy it, never get mad at the other players for their survival attempts.

MORE PLAYERS!!! I would love to have 6 minimum, but 8 would work for this as well...More Players=More Chaos.
More background info...unlike the game PhD ran, we will be using full Perversity points, you start with 25 as a player, they belong to the player...not the character, so if you run out of clones, your next character will also have access to those same Perveristy points...
What can perversity points do?
Well they can either improve YOUR rolls, decrease your opponent's rolls, or you can even spend them to increase or reduce your fellow trouble shooters rolls.
How do I get MORE perversity points?
Make me laugh...pretty simple.
