Man, that's a shame. Paizo could add some art and class to what is often a lackluster tabletop gaming area...
I think that is the problem... Isn't Pax more geared towards Video Games? Would they really get much bang for thier buck? I know it advertises all gaming Con, but from what I understand it is heavy on the Video Game Side...
Also, it is only a few weeks from GenCon, which is a problem in itself most likely.

Tabletop isn't the focus, no. Although given that both founders of PAX are now avid players (as opposed to just one of them) there might be more oomph going forward.
However, Gabriel is a 4E player; and strongly prefers it to other incarnations of D&D... So, you know, he's brain-damaged.

I was really hoping to see the Paizo booth at Origins - I can't go to GenCon as it's too close to the back to school rush at my college bookstore. But I guess that GenCon's the only real game in town right now, which is a shame. Maybe in a year or two, they'll be big enough to be back at a con I can attend...

Tabletop games have always had their place at PAX, and the last couple of years have been particularly enjoyable. Last year they had a couple floors of a building dedicated to tabletop, and Wizards ran some excellent organized play events.
The focus is on video games, but the place is a gaming mecca. Everything is going on there.
