Combining shipping with different payment methods

Just wondering, and this may have been asked before, but the new sub/non-sub shipping combination option raised a question in my head tonight. If one were to place an order using one payment method and request to have it held for next subscription shipment and the subs use a different payment method, will that present a problem?
