I'm not asking for a refund or anything but I wanted to post this up in a fresh new thread to bring it to your (Paizo's) attention and anyone else.
The last 3 days have been VERY humid.. you know, the kind of weather where it looks and feels like it's going to rain, but doesn't.. or it does but it's barely anything and the air continues to still feel wet.
Well basically, my new, unread, not sitting near the window copy of Planet Stories has had it's cover warped due to the weather. By the spine it's curved upward and then dips down again, with the right edge in the air.
Think ~
I turn it over (face down) and the outer edge of the back cover is starting to bend upward too. The corners are up in the air, but the middle isn't.
Think ) but turned 90 degrees.

You know, bizarre things are happening to my paperbacks too. I borrowed a brand-new copy of "Perdido Street Station" from my library and left it in the car window on the weekend. The glue melted and the book is coming apart in sections. Of course, I feel really bad, as it is a library book and all. This book was published by Del Rey and it isn't humid at *all* in my part of the world, but I've never had this happen before. Maybe something to do with the glue used by the printer?

We changed printers starting with Robots Have No Tails, so if you're talking about an older book, we're not using that cover stock anymore.
And if you're talking about Robots Have No Tails, we weren't entirely happy with the paper stock on that one; future books will have a heavier version of the same paper, inside and out.

Yikes! I did forget to say which book I'm talking about.

Yes I am talking about Robots. All my "older" Planet Stories books haven't warped or anything. Even the ones I've read are in excellent shape.

Glad to hear it—er, at least about the older books. From here on out the cover stock should be more like the one we were using with older PS books. Sometimes you really can't tell how a given paper type will hold up until something's actually been printed... Now we know.
