We've just announced two new Pathfinder Companions:
Adventurer's Armory (February 2010)
Gnomes of Golarion (April 2010)
As always, covers are mockups.

A hero won’t last long without his equipment, and this installment of the Pathfinder Companion blows the lid off the Core Rulebook with more than a hundred new items for the discerning adventurer. Everything from new weapons and armor to climbing harnesses, alchemical items, commodities, and animals can be found in the lavishly illustrated Adventurer’s Armory, an invaluable resource for players of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and all 3.5 OGL-based fantasy roleplaying games.
The news of a supplement which will apparently render core rules outdated ('blows the lid off the Core Rulebook') within approximately half a year of publication of that rulebook does not make me happy... :(
I hope that I am misreading this because I am distinctly tired today.

I can't imagine why you'd really think that the phrase "blows the lid off the core rulebook" is equal to "renders outdated." It's not. It's adding more items to the items that are already there.

Thanks for the explanation. Long, hot, fatiguing day here by UK standards, and about to take (for me) an early night.
Still concerned over the rate these are coming out, and (as I have said at greater, more tedious length, elsewhere) if I will be able to keep up with the new game or not. My ability to purchase outside the current flagship Pathfinder line has been limited to maybe a couple out of all your Chronicles/Companions output each year.
(Severely restricted gaming budget, basically, but that's not your problem.)
