Help with Abadar

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Grand Lodge

Hey there, how yous guys doing today? :) I need a little help with the priesthood of Abadar. I am writing up an NPC who is a mid-level priest of Abadar and I realized it would sound more "real" if he had a nice title.

Now, I picture priests of Abadar filling several functions, the most well known being bankers. But, as patron of civilization I also see them as judges and civil servants.

So, I need possible titles for the priesthood. Things like manager, broker, financier, teller, treasurer, arbiter, adjudicator, assessor, inspector, marshal, magistrate, warden, commissioner, secretary, comptroller, administrator, director.

These are what I came up with so far. Do they sound all right? Would they fit? Would you use something entirely different?

The high priest of Abadar in Korvosa has the title of Archbanker. Beyond that, if you have Crimson Throne, there is an extended article on Abadar in Seven Days to the Grave that you might find useful :)
