"Aye mate, I will"

I'll take the extra hp, thank you very much

Does anyone need healing

Lurean briskly sends healing aid to Lam, but can't free himself from the last of the aging effects of the phane.

From the depths of the chasm, you can hear the infuriated noises of an immobilised wraith. Fortunately, it seems to be unable to do anything other than moan.

Lavender flings some magic missiles in the titan's general direction, but focuses most of his attention on shaking off the aftereffects of the phane's aging magic.

Tavar, I'll take those rolls and apply them at the end of your next turn. You can take one action doing half damage on your next turn and then you're back to normal assuming nothing hits you in the meantime.

Lavender and Tavar both break free of the un-natural aging. Weakened and dazed they may be, but no less dangerous.

The phane flies enticingly out of range, waiting for its moment to strike again.

The titan looks from the chasm to the oncoming companions and beckons you over the bridge.

Theren dashes out to the giant and begins to stab at him and misses horribly. Wait, no, he doesn't miss that badly, actually.

Using Inexorable Pursuit to shift to Y20 and attack. YOU ARE F%#@ING KIDDING ME (for 14 damage) Taking advantage of Sheild of Ill Fortune to reroll those attacks. 1d20+28=32, 1d20+28=36 I went and wasted my bonus damage... Oh, and I didn't save.

Genryu continues to bid his time...

Delaying again

Bloody hell. Theren can roll worse than me. Or at least as badly as me. Take some comfort from the fact that the blasted titan hasn't rolled out of single figures even once yet. For anything. I hate it already.

Theren looks tiny as he hurtles towards the titan, stabbing wildly at its hamstrings. More affected by the hideous aging spell of the phane than he knew, he mistimes his attacks.

All - note that to the end of his stance, allies within 2 squares of Lam gain a +2 to all defenses. This does not stack with the earlier +2 to AC which lasts to the end of the encounter.

Oh good grief. This is ridiculous. Could any of us possibly be rolling any worse?

Lurean struggles to break free of the aging spell and moves out of Lam's protective presence in order to aid Theren.

From the bottom of the chasm, the wraith can be heard moving to the edge, seething with undead fury.

St. Tavar mutters out a prayer despite his dazed condition casting Crown of Light centered on Father Theren.
Father Theren receives a +5 bonus to all defenses until the end of my next turn.
A burst of radiant light explodes from Father Theren in a 1 square burst.
Attack vs. reflex = 38
Damage = 25

Tavar's prayer encircles Theren in divine glory and expands towards the titan. The cleric's weakened state makes his prayer less effective, but the giant can't avoid the damage.

The titan swivels slightly to look at the Raven Queen's servant. "Your mistress will kneel before my master and what will be the purpose of your lives then?"

Maybe it is the challenge in the words or maybe his goddess is incensed by the insult, but Tavar breaks free of the phane's attack at last and stands tall, fully empowered once more.

Lavender, finally feeling himself again, moves out on the bridge with deliberation (EE, I think it's 12) and attempts to pummel the recovering wraith with a blast of force from above, but misses, even with the aid of his insight from past lives.

Nonetheless, the terrain around the wraith buckles and heaves, impeding movement severely.

Titan's fist vs Wraith Ref (not halved) (1d20+23=30, 3d8+12+1d10=30)

Memory on Titan's Fist vs Wraith's ref (30+1d6=35)

Lavender's attack rocks the ground but fails to impact on the wraith.

The phane emerges from the trees and sends the weight of years cascading towards Lurean again. This time the attack falls short and the creature seethes with annoyance.

Is it possible to hit W1 from the bridge? specifically bb13?

It's six squares below you. A ranged/area attack will hit it, but unless you've got a power that enormously extends your reach, a melee attack won't. You can fly down and engage it of course, if you have the wherewithal to do so.

Please note, Tavar is not stunned nor is he going to suffer from any aftereffect. I don't know how that got in there.

since I can't look at the full range of my powers with being at work. I'd like to just move to the other end of the bridge and go on full defense

The titan swings at Theren again, but cannot find a way trough the avenger's heightened defenses.

"My time is coming, never fear," he booms, seemingly unperturbed. In the background, the phane's laughter echoes in and out of the trees, enjoying some joke only creatures of Orcus could enjoy.

1d20+28=44, 2d12+12=31 When the Revolution finally comes, Save Ends will be the first against the wall.

Enfeebled though he is, Theren nonetheless does enough damage to give the giant pause. The shroud of hapless souls screams as he pulls a life thread from the fabric and swallows it.

"A precaution, little elf. In case you want to play for longer. Never fear, I can replace them."

The accompanying smile is not pleasant as the titan looks speculatively at the companions.
Each soul shard restores 20hp to the titan.

Question: invoking my sword mage warding, what type of action is that?

Lurean's battle cry send vigour and resolve pouring through his friends.

Swordmage warding is a minor action.
Theren gets an immediate save

The infurated wraith rises from the pit and floats, snickering venomously, to flank Theren.

"Let's see how powerfull you are with out a demon lords support."

Taver casts Sever the Source on the titan; titan gain vunerability to all 18 and cannot regain hp. Ends at the end of Tavat's next turn.
I spend a action point for another action and attack the titan with Lance of faith.
Attack vs. reflex = 38
Damage = 18 radiant

Everybody should attack the titan with a weapon or power that has an effect this turn.

Male Deva Wiz 23 / Cleric / Divine Oracle / Sage of Ages

Lavender advances (BB13, I think, next to LL) and evokes a brilliant burst of light from where Father Theren stands, engulfing the titan and the wraith. Father Theren stands unaffected; unfortunately, so do the opponents.

Trust me 2d20+1d6=10.

Tavar's attack outlines the titan in divine light and the blustering roar that greets his assault is enough to tell you all of your comrade's success.

"My strength is my own and you may live long enough to sample it."

For all the brave words, you see the soul shroud fade to temporary invisibility and realise you have an unrivaled opportunity to attack the giant.

Lavender flings a handful of searing light at the titan, but misjudges his attack as the phane emerges from the sheltering trees and dances past Tavar, sending a blast of wizening age at the deva as it goes.
Home rolled. +29 v Fort = 36; 2d6+9 = 16hp damage; Tavar is stunned (se), aftereffect - dazed and weakened (se both)

Taking the opportunity in both hands, Lam thuds menacingly towards the titan, flanking the huge being with Theren. Pausing only to offer a swift prayer to his goddess and divinely challenge the giant, he swings hard with his fullblade.

Double move to flank. Minor - Divine challenge. AP to use Mark of Terror.
Home rolled. +24 v AC = 41; 1d12+6 + 18 (vulnerabilty) = 33hp damage to titan and it is stunned to the end of Lam's next turn.

The titan can do nothing...

Simul-posting!

Lengthy edit ensued. Lam is away this weekend, but I hope he'll approve of my use of an AP on his behalf.

Elf Avenger/Zealous Assassin/Harbringer of Doom 23

Hey, I'm not dazed and weakened!

Theren steps away from the wraith and his blade begins to glow with divine power as he plunges it into the giant.

Shifting to Y20 and using Blade of The Zealot: 1d20+28=48, 60 Radiant (not including weaknesses), 20 Ongoing damage (save ends), and 10 Ongoing radiant and grants combat advantage to me (save ends). The 20 and 10 Ongoing don't stack, but should still be granting combat advantage.

Move to X15; Total Defense

Apologies Theren. Cut and paste error.

A single mighty blow is enough to show just how dangerous an avenger can be as Theren's fullblade sweeps easily past the titan's defenses. The dragging wound it leaves behind continues to bleed sluggishly, inflicting further damage on the giant.

Genryu continues his cautious approach.

Among the mish-mash of effects, the things to note are principally that the titan is stunned at the moment and granting CA as well as being vulnerable 18 to all damage.

Unless he's granting combat advantage from something other than Blade of the Zealot, he's only granting CA to me(save ends). There's also some ongoing Radiant damage, but it's currently being canceled out by the 20 Ongoing damage.

Stunned grants CA. Also, I think the 20 ongoing untyped from the weapon and the 10 ongoing radiant should stack, as they are not the same type, but I could be wrong.

I think the different damage types do stack. He'll have to save against each of them separately. The CA for everyone bar Theren is due to Lam's earlier attack, but Theren can maintain it once the stun ends.

No longer stuned and dazed but still weakened.

Male Deva Wiz 23 / Cleric / Divine Oracle / Sage of Ages

Lavender, knowing he is best positioned to damage the wraith, launches a blast of force at it, knocking it back.

Spectral Ram vs W1 Fort (not halved) (1d20+23=38, 2d10+12+1d10=36) Assuming that's a hit, 36 force, push 3 squares due East, knock prone

A huge apology to all. I've been reading the phane's power wrongly. It doesn't stun you. It dazes and weakens with a weakening aftereffect (a separate save needed for each condition). I don't want to retcon at this point, but I will compensate for the lost actions by allowing you all an extra AP to be used in this combat only.

From the cover of the scrubby trees, Tavar fights to regain control of his mind and body while Lavender sends a ball of crashing full into the wraith, knocking it off balance and pushing it further away. One deva at least is fully recovered.

The phane glides past Lam, flickering through time and sending moutainous ages towards the dwarf. Already venerable, Lam's beard whitens and he slumps as the years hit him.

Thanks for the post Rosie. Couldn't get to a computer till yesterday and then paizo wasn't working. Nice to see that you can actually roll a saving throw ;)

Age cannot wither him, nor custom stale Lam's infinite variety. Regardless of the years unceremoniously hurled at his head, he is too old a hand not to take an opportunity and he swings at the titan. As the blow lands, you see that at last, the giant is starting to suffer.

With a brief prayer, Lam shake himself free of some of the shock of ages.

Ardent Strike v Titan (1d20+31=43, 2d12+6/2=15). That's half damage. A further 18 gets added for a total of 33 to the titan and it is under Lam's divine sanction to the end of his next turn.

Save v dazed (1d20=10)

The titan rages as the hideous wounds inflicted by the avenger open further. Necrotic energy explodes from the soul shroud as the screaming victims of earlier times wrap themselves around Lam and Theren.
Soulfire burst (close burst 1, Ref) v Lam and Theren (1d20+26=39, 1d20+26=46).

Crit on Theren. 30 necrotic damage
Soulfire burst damage to Lam (2d12+6=17). [ooc]17hp damage to Lam.

Savagely, the titan blusters past its flanking foes. Lam tries to hit him as he passes, but cannot take advantage.

The worst of Theren's wounds ceases to trouble the titan.
Saves v ongoing damage (1d20+2=21, 1d20+2=5). Saved v 20 ongoing from fullblade, still taking 10 ongoing radiant.
