We are now talking Soivodis, the eastern part of Ustalav....
Hyannis? For a name that derives from a 16th to 18th century misspelling of a Wampanoag native American chief's name (either Iyanough/Wiananno or his son Yanno), how did it get in the midst of the awesome, pseudo-Eastern European hills?
Is this an Easter Egg for something? Color me clueless.
Now, on Rozenport, it's mentioned in the text but not in the map, pronunciation guide, the index or the chapter list. (Hyannis isn't either, to be fair.) Does this appear in an Adventure Path? I haven't picked any up since I unfortunately write all my own stuff. Could it be Thrushmoor or Illmarsh renamed?

Important word: Pseudo. Always keep in mind that this is not Eastern Europe. It's Ustalav. Some names and themes are "borrowed" from there, but it won't slavishly adher to anything found in the real world.
Thats why you sometimes have stuff that doesn't seem to fit if you're thinking in Earth terms rather than Golarion terms.

Hyannis and Rozenport are both communities in the Ustalavic county of Versex. Neither feature in any Adventure Path published thus far. As none of the maps in the campaign setting are meant to be comprehensive, Rozenport is not shown, but it's on the coast between Thrushmoor and Illmarsh. And as Ustalav details more than a dozen regions in a paragraph or less, there are a number of name drops that should serve a fertile ground for creative GMs and future products, but that are currently undefined.
As for the name "Hyannis," one could take that as merely an occurrence of the 26 letters of the English alphabet having only a finite number of arrangements. Then again, one might not...

Mr. Schneider, thanks! That's very cool of you to answer. This then looks like a case of map and text not getting reconciled before print, which is quite fine. Plenty of room for expansion in future supplements.

I never said that it should. :)
I happen to come from Cape Cod, and I have spent many a day in Hyannis. It's just obvious to me, and funny, and a bit of an Easter Egg, that it would be there.

Well, things like that happen. Once, in the Game The Settlers - Heritage of Kings - I fought for a village I went to school in. And in Seiken Densetsu 3, one of the goals is to reach a holy city where I later went to school in.
(I'm talking about Theley and (St. )Wendel, by the way)
