I signed up for Pathfinder Society and followed the link to download my card and I see the Osirion name and symbol on the card. Was that randomly assigned to me? I don't remember choosing that faction anywhere in the process.
When I wish to create my Pathfinder Society character, I get to choose a faction for that character, right? Will that change the faction on my card?
I found the settings for which faction to display next to my name on the messageboards. Is that a third faction somehow?

Each character you have can belong to a different faction.
You can change the faction symbol on your card by clicking on My Account (above)
In the Pathfinder Society section of the page, you will see your big faction symbol. Below where it says to "click to download card" there is a "Click here to make changes". Go to that.
On that page you will see a big faction symbol, and you will also see a clickable "Click here to change the faction displayed with your messageboard posts". This should change the symbol on your downloadable card as well.
