I just received order #1158685, and when I opened the mailer I discovered my three items had suffered varying amounts of damage during shipment.
It appears the mailer may have been dropped on its end; my issue of the Pathfinder AP, #21 The Jackal's Price, came through pretty well, with only minor creasing on the bottom of the book. The binding of Dragons Revisited is somewhat crushed about a quarter of the inch from the top, but otherwise fine as well. My copy of Dark Markets, A Guide to Katapesh, suffered the worst of it; it has significant creasing along the bottom edge, with the cover suffering additional minor tears and separation in a few areas of the compressed layers that comprise the stock.
I don't know if this is a one-time thing, if it's due to mishandling or if the mailer was simply too full. As much as I'm looking forward to the books coming soon in the Chronicles line, at this time I simply can't afford to purchase items that may arrive in such a damaged state. Please cancel my Pathfinder Chronicles subscription, though I would like to retain my subscription to the Adventure Path at this time; I experienced very few problems when it was my only subscription, and I hope that this will continue in the future.
