We still play 1st edition Kult which has a real Hellraiser feel about it. I grabbed a copy of 3rd edition which seems to have a much more extensive section on magic and down-plays the gun side of Kult. It would seem that 1st is great for a more Call of Cthulhu type game and 3rd edition more of the players being "supernatural" themselves.

Oh man, Kult. That's a blast from the past!
I haven't played it since my teens (I was 13-14 when it made the big headlines in the mid-90's here in Sweden) but it certainly forms much of my gaming mentality to this day. That game was really the first time things 'clicked' for me in regards to making characters with flaws and ambitions beyond loots and expees.
We hardly introduced any of the supernatural elements into our games, but just knowing it was there behind the scenes made for some really immersive stories. And I hadn't even seen any of the Hellraiser movies at the time!

The German Kult rulebook - 1st edition as far as I know, but I think there were other editions in germany was just re-released as a very limited faksimile edition with ok-Kult. Since I didn't own the rulebook when I played the game back in the 90s and I've switched players since I didn't have a chance to play it since - until now. I'm really looking forward to it (I used some Kult adventures / background as inspirational material for my Buffy group - I just love the Clive Barker feel of the game.)
