Since the ref did not announce that the knight on f6 is being attacked, that means White did not play 2 e5. Since White did not move the attacked pawn I can only assume she protected it with most likely either 2. Nc3 or 2. d3
Therefore I will now change my second move to:
2...e5

Wait a minute, there is a white pawn at d5? If so, then it must have been at d4 at some point, in which case my pawn at e5 would have been attacked. This was never announced as far as I can tell. Now I am going to lose a piece for 2 pawns.
I assumed it was the white knight that went to d5.
